🗞 New feature alert!

💰 Niantic has introduced C.A.R.G.O., the new Cortex Augmenting Resource Grid Overlay (Thats a mouthful!) arriving with Scanner v3.1.

⬆️This upgrade gives agents 100 extra inventory slots for 30 days and costs 3,500 CMU per boost.

⏳Each C.A.R.G.O. runs on its own independent timer, and agents can hold up to five at once, perfect for stocking up ahead of ops, anomalies, or travel.

When a boost expires, no items are lost; agents simply need to bring their inventory back under the standard limit before collecting anything new.

🤹‍♂️ C.A.R.G.O. is designed to make resource management smoother and more flexible, making it easier to hold onto what you need without constantly juggling items.

🇳🇱 SITREP - 270 Million Mu over The Netherlands in OP Resurrectio Caerulea!!

What do these places have in common?
🎄 Cute Christmas markets in Norden, Germany
🏡 A sleepy town called Preuswald south of Aachen
🦆 and the wild and windswept Essex coast in the UK?

🔑 All were part of an audacious RES plan to cover the whole of The Netherlands in blue - last weekend!!

😮 Over 130 agents from 5 different countries worked together to resist Shaper Mind Control, and throw gorgeous blue fields over the entire country. The result was spectacular!!

⏰ After clearing the designated corridors under 30 mins, agents were able to connect the German towns Norden and Preuswald to the John Weston Nature Reserve in the UK. The BAF hit the 12:00 CP with 9 Fields with an average of 8,5M MU per field!

🙏 With over 1120KM of link corridors created through some of the densest Ingress activity in the world, and a need to control most of the North Sea too, the maximum credit is given to the cleaners and Intel who made this possible!!

😳 And by the end of the op, over 272M mu was captured!!!!!!

🐸 These were taken down by Enlightened agent 1544c on the UK side, during what sounds like a very muddy walk

It was great seeing such a big and diverse group of agents fighting for a common goal and succeed.

✨ Niantic has released details for Operation Polaris, running 16 December 2025 to 5 February 2026. The event centres on consistent completion of Daily Bounties, with medal tiers awarded in 3 assignments per 52 completed daily bounties.

This is a long-window event, giving Agents a major challenge - Stay on top of your dailies and Polaris will take care of the rest!
