Niantic just announced the India Wayfarer Challenge on the Wayfarer community forum.
Eligibility:L10+ Ingress Agents and L38+ Pokémon Go Trainers with home/bonus locations in India.
Event Duration: 16 March 2021 at 00:00 a.m. IST to 26 March 2021 at 00:00 a.m. IST.
Reward Duration: The weekend of the Holi festival.
🥉Tier 1 Rewards(3000 new wayspots approved):
🔹Ingress: 20 Resonators and 20 Power Cubes according to Agent Level (maximum of L8 gear for L8+ agents).
🔹Pokémon Go: Smeargle is more common in snapshots!
🥈Tier 2 Rewards(5000 new wayspots approved):
All from previous tiers and
🔹 Ingress: 3 Rare Heat Sink, 3 Rare Multi-Hack, and 3 Rare Link Amp.

On the night of February 22-23, despite frosts down to -35°, the capital of Russia was covered with 183 blue fields for 1.95 billion MU in checkpoint, and immediately after - 199 fields for 2.13 billion MU, which were until the morning and hit into the next checkpoint.

Kinetic Capsule will have a new item recipe and it’s gonna be virus! From Mar 12, 17 UTC to Mar 15, 17 UTC, there will be a global competition, the faction deploys more resonators will unlock recipe for opposite faction’s virus: RES winning will unlock Jarvis and ENL winning will unlock ADA.
Also there will be bonus during the event:

🔹 3x AP for last Resonator on Portal
Mini Builder bundle and pack will be available in in-game store too.

Niantic has discovered two visual issues with the temporary Kinetic Capsule Programs.
Issue #1: The JARVIS Program is currently displayed as ADA Refactor. Materials required are not affected, and the output will generate 1 JARVIS Virus; however, the Program title and the item is displayed incorrectly.
Issue #2: When claiming the 8 L8 Resonators Program and the 2 Hypercube Program, the Kinetic Capsule animation will display only “x1” item has been crafted. In reality, x8 L8 Resonators and x2 Hypercubes have been crafted and added to your Inventory.
The output is not effected!
At the second Optima Kinetic Challenge event, silver and gold will be added to the Optima medal.

Earlier today we got word that the popular website IngressMosaic.com went black with a goodbye message from it's owner.
IngressMosaic was host to 60.000 Ingress banners worldwide and was used by many players as a source of information for walking banners. As the administrator says in his goodbye message on the frontpage that he has shifted away from Ingress for a long time and thinks a website like IngressMosaic deserves more and he can not provide that anymore.
