Niantic has posted an update about Perpetua Hexathlon and future Lexicon Hexathlon event.

Perpetua Hexathlon badges will have its own Elite version, earned by being in the top 10% of the city for any challenge, and one can only earn the normal, or Elite medal of Perpetua.

It won't affect Field Test Hexathlon badge anymore, and Field Test badge will remain its current status, as a commeomorative for 9/14 Field Test attendees.

Operation QUATTRO

In the night of January 25th at 02:00 about 80 brave Agents painted the entire Cell NR02-Golf-04 - which contains the City of Berlin - in deep blue color with 2 Multilayer Fields (16 and 19 Fields).

Altogether they made about 43 MMU. Agents from all over the Cell were involved by foot, Bike, Car and even a boat was used to clear the Channels.

Grats to 3 Agents that achieved their Black Illuminator Badge.

Great fun - Great Team 👌

58 layers of blue were made by the Resistance agents from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine to cover their capital cities together.

One layer was ~13.5M MUs and the total count captured for the Resistance was ~780M MUs 💙

Great job agents, keep it up 💪

Ingress' producer Brian Rose mentioned on Twitter a new Global challenge that should take place in February after FS. As it is still not info confirmed by official Ingress accounts, it might still be subject to change.

Rose also considers adding stretch goals and more challenging targets great ideas for upcoming challenges.
