On May 6, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian visited the house of the Artsakh Hero, Major General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan, where he met with his widow Hasmik Sahakyan, son Hayk Ter-Tadevosyan and other family members, the press service of the President of the republic reported.
The meeting took place at the initiative of the legendary general's family. At a recent meeting with President Sarkisian , the son of the Commandos Hayk Ter-Tadevosyan shared the idea of founding the House-Museum of Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan. The President approved this idea and expressed his readiness to assist in its implementation.
The President discussed this idea with members of Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan's family today. He noted that in a sense he is the first visitor to the House-Museum of the legendary Commandos.
