Two of the 27 martyrs of the “Volunteer Movement” NGO battalion were posthumously awarded the Artsakh Combat Cross Order of the 1st Degree, the others—the Medal of Courage—for their exceptional courage and bravery in defending the Artsakh state border during the large-scale military actions unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020, writes Aravot.am.
On Wednesday in Yerevan, these medals were handed over to their relatives by the secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Artsakh Hero, Major General Vitaly Balasanyan.
At the end of the solemn ceremony, Balasanyan said: "Back in 1988-91, 1991-94, when the national liberation movement, the struggle was revived, we were able to bring victories. Of course, today we are sad; we have lost [the recent war]. But we will return everything—except our martyrs; rest 100% assured. I am confident that we will overcome all the difficulties—whether political, military, social, economic—in a short time.

Alexander Lukashenko has said that his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev made a financial proposal – through him – to Armenia at some point. According to Lukashenko, Aliyev had allegedly proposed to restore Karabakh and "raise Armenia" if Yerevan agreed to peacefully settle the conflict.
"Of course, when I am no longer president, I will tell a lot of good things about what Ilham Aliyev proposed to the Armenian people and the leaders of Armenia in order to resolve this conflict,"
"One of the proposals was when he told me: "Listen, tell the Armenians, you are on good terms with them, I am ready to restore not only Karabakh, but also raise Armenia... I won't even name the amount that I am ready to pay right away. Tell them to settle this issue peacefully”

❗️At Thursday's Cabinet session, the government of Armenia made an amendment to the law on the state budget for 2021, by which it allocated 427.7 million drams to the Public Broadcaster's Council.
The reasoning behind this decision states that the necessity of this decision is conditioned by the fact that the state-funded Public Television of Armenia plans to set up a separate news channel for the capital Yerevan, on the basis of the current news service, and its main purpose will be to provide operative and impartial information which, at the same time, will ensure the TV viewers’ fundamental rights to receive information.
