Nikol Pashinyan has responded to Azerbaijani President's opening of a "war trophy park" in Baku, noting that there is need for "certain psychological support."
Pashinyan cited a poem by Armenian poet Ignat Mamyan to responde to Aliyev:
"I do not hate you, I feel sorry for you,
The way only the smart can bear to feel
For the crazy being accursing them
From the gloomy cage of the mentally ill."
Ես քեզ չեմ ատում,
ես խղճում եմ քեզ,
Այսպես խղճում են մարդիկ խելացի
Հոգեհիվանդին մռայլ վանդակից

🇦🇲🇫🇷French Ambassador to Armenia “War is not a subject for staging a performance”
The French Ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacotte noted that he recently visited the Yerablur military cemetery.
“I fully understand and share the emotions in the Armenian society associated with the opening of the so-called ‘park’ in Baku. We witnessed how many people died, how many losses. We saw families suffering.
Yerablur is a place where dignity is manifested. War is not a subject for a performance. Now, the priority is to find a solution to the conflict.”
To the question whether the aggressive rhetoric of the Azerbaijani authorities contributes to the establishment of relations, the ambassador emphasized by responding: “Armenia is worthy in its defeat. You have to be worthy even if you win.”
🇦🇿 Baku reacted to the words of the French Ambassador to Armenia.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry advised the French diplomat, before commenting on any issue, to pay attention to how certain issues are resolved in his country.
"Is the ambassador of France-a country that has experienced many wars throughout its history and has displayed compositions related to these wars in various museums-going to tell us what to do with the trophies taken from the enemy?!" the ministry said.

Two of the 27 martyrs of the “Volunteer Movement” NGO battalion were posthumously awarded the Artsakh Combat Cross Order of the 1st Degree, the others—the Medal of Courage—for their exceptional courage and bravery in defending the Artsakh state border during the large-scale military actions unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, 2020, writes Aravot.am.
On Wednesday in Yerevan, these medals were handed over to their relatives by the secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Artsakh Hero, Major General Vitaly Balasanyan.
At the end of the solemn ceremony, Balasanyan said: "Back in 1988-91, 1991-94, when the national liberation movement, the struggle was revived, we were able to bring victories. Of course, today we are sad; we have lost [the recent war]. But we will return everything—except our martyrs; rest 100% assured. I am confident that we will overcome all the difficulties—whether political, military, social, economic—in a short time.
