This is a situation of apps which are on Play Store. There are a lot of permissions that are pre-allowed and explained on the play store page. When You click install, You agree to all of them. Only few like storage, camera, mic, location etc is asked manually.

Now imagine, when Apps on Google Play store can do this, what will 3rd Party Apps do to You?

When You sideload an app (Install an apk), You allow the permissions by default, except Few that requires manual permissions.
