♻️ عبارت پرکاربرد: In case

🔹 معنا: در صورتی که / به‌محض اینکه ممکنه
🔸 برای آماده بودن در برابر اتفاقی که ممکنه بیفته، ازش استفاده می‌کنیم.

❇️ چترت رو ببر، در صورتی که بارون بیاد.

2️⃣ I always keep some cash in case of emergency.
❇️ همیشه مقداری پول نقد نگه می‌دارم، در صورت بروز اضطراری.

❇️ اگه کمکی خواستی، بهم زنگ بزن.

📌 فرق in case با if:
✅ If = وقتی مطمئن نیستی که چیزی اتفاق می‌افته یا نه
✅ In case = برای آمادگی، چون ممکنه اتفاق بیفته

مثال:
🟡 Take water if you get thirsty. (اگه تشنه‌ات شد)
🟢 Take water in case you get thirsty. (برای اینکه ممکنه تشنه‌ات بشه)

♻️ عبارت پرکاربرد: As if

🔹 معنا: انگار که / طوری که گویی
🔸 برای بیان چیزی که واقعیت ندارد ولی شبیه به آن به نظر می‌رسد.

❇️ طوری حرف می‌زند انگار همه‌چیز را می‌داند.

2️⃣ She looked at me as if I were crazy.
❇️ طوری نگاهم کرد انگار دیوانه‌ام.

❇️ طوری رفتار کردند انگار هیچ اتفاقی نیفتاده.

📌 نکته گرامری:
بعد از as if معمولاً از زمان گذشته (past simple یا past perfect) استفاده می‌کنیم حتی اگر در حال صحبت درباره‌ی زمان حال باشیم.
چون معمولاً درباره‌ی چیزی غیرواقعی یا خیالی صحبت می‌کنیم.
