DOMAIN KILL SWITCH WARNING: EU DisinfoLab wants ICANN to seize website domains linked to “disinformation”
A nonprofit organization with heavy sway among policymakers across the European Union (EU) is pushing for the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to wage "war on disinformation."
Known as the EU DisinfoLab, the nonprofit, which claims to be independent, says ICANN needs to expand its control over domain registration limitations to include "disinformation" policing in addition to phishing and malware. In other words, the group wants ICANN to police who is allowed to register websites based on their adherence to official narratives.
It is disingenuous, just for the record, for the EU DisinfoLab to claim independence when a large percentage of its funding comes from none other than the Open Society Foundations, which are a project of billionaire agitator George Soros.
The Open Society Foundations is already testing the waters concerning the "repurposing" of ICANN to become a tool for targeting "disinformation sites." Natural News, presumably, would be included in that repurposed targeting, as would many other independent media sites.
"Attempting to directly enlist ICANN would be highly controversial, to put it mildly, at least at this stage," writes Didi Rankovic for Reclaim the Net about the news.
"Given its importance in the internet infrastructure – ICANN manages domain names globally – and the fact content control is not among its tasks (DisinfoLab says ICANN 'refuses' to do it) – this would represent a huge departure from the organization's role as we understand it today."
Internet 2.0 a censorship nightmare
Utilizing "the structure already created by ICANN," The EU DisinfoLab is urging ICANN to basically police the entire internet in search of anything the powers the be (TPTB) consider as "disinformation." Doing this, the group argues, would require a "minimal amount of diligence and cooperation" from registries.
The purpose of all this would be to have ICANN determine which websites are unacceptable, meaning their domain names would be revoked. The entire internet worldwide would be affected by such a change.
The cover story TPTB are using to try to justify such a drastic change is that "disinformation doppelganger" sites, which are sites that try to mimic "trusted news sites" with similar names or formatting, are getting too out of hand and must be stopped.
Since ICANN is the top authority for both website domain names and DNS registration, the group would be allowed, under the new scheme, to revoke entire websites that are deemed to be spreading some kind of "misinformation."
Truth be told, ICANN was already doing something similar during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic." Domain names containing the word "covid," along with other related terms, were probed to see if they were trying to use such keywords to mask phishing or malware proliferation operations. In other words, it was not yet about trying to "moderate" any content related to COVID.
What is being proposed now, conversely, is a type of moderation format in which ICANN would have the authority to strike entire website domains found guilty of spreading disinformation.
The EU DisinfoLab wants ICANN to use a system called DNSTICR to report "genuinely open-and-shut (disinformation) cases" to registrars for removal. The question is: Who gets to decide what an "open-and-shut disinformation case" actually is?
One possibility is that registries or registrars could "grant media trade associations 'trusted notifier' status, though this, too, would be arbitrarily decided in that there is no established framework for deciding who gets "trusted notifier" status.
What this all amounts to is everything George Orwell warned the world about many decades ago: a ministry of truth control grid that expands the entire world, regulating everything people say and do – in this case online.

A Brief History of Vaccine Disasters

In 1798, the smallpox vaccine hit the market. Once it hit the market, it was observed to frequently cause smallpox outbreaks (rather than prevent them) and to cause a wide range of debilitating and complex injuries that many of the doctors had never seen before (and many of which I believe were examples of “blood stasis”). Curiously, rather than recognizing this was a mistake, most of the medical profession endorsed the smallpox vaccine, and governments around the world mandated it as cases kept on increasing (caused by the vaccine). Having looked at it extensively, I am of the opinion the smallpox vaccine reshaped the trajectory of humanity’s health and ushered in the era of chronic illness.
Note: the smallpox vaccine is discussed in further detail here.In the 1800s and early 1900s, a variety of early vaccines (e.g., rabies, typhoid, diphtheria, tuberculosis) and horse-generated antiserums (for most of the common infections at the time) entered the market. Since many of these vaccines were produced in small independent labs, there were a variety of quality control issues with these products, which frequently led to hot lots severely injuring or killing a group of people. Additionally, many of those vaccines had a high degree of toxicity. Because of this, a variety of new and severe medical conditions emerged, many of which were deemed to be due to brain inflammation (encephalitis) or brain damage (encephalopathy) and observed to occur in conjunction with cranial nerve damage. Most of these conditions in turn mirrored the myriad of injuries we now too see from modern vaccinations.
Note: many of these forgotten cases can be found in this book which I am presently synopsizing into an article. The key point is that many doctors at the time could tell the vaccines were causing brain injuries and were willing report that throughout the medical literature.
In the 1940s-1950s, the original pertussis vaccine (DPT) entered the market. This vaccine excelled at causing brain inflammation and a variety of concerning differences were seen in the generations born after its mass adoption in America.
Note: The rabies vaccine also excelled at causing encephalitis (around 1 in 750 injections, of which 20% were fatal), but it did not have as large an impact on society because far fewer people received it.Between the 1950s to 1970s, numerous instances happened where a rushed and poorly produced experimental vaccine (e.g., polio or the swine flu) was brought to market to address a non-existent “emergency,” and the government chose to ignore warnings from its scientists that it was not safe to give to America. Since the press was honest at this time, they reported the disaster, it became a national scandal and the government provided compensation to the victims.
Note: I compiled those media reports here, the last of which happened in 2002 with Bush’s smallpox vaccine.In 1986, enough public awareness existed of the dangers of the DPT vaccine that lawsuits were regularly being filed for the brain damage and sudden infant deaths it caused (discussed here). This in turn led to the 1986 vaccine injury act being passed (discussed further here), an act that both shielded vaccine manufacturers from product liability and was intended to help parents of vaccine injured children (even though it didn’t). This act being passed led to an industry gold rush to bring experimental and liability free vaccines to the market, and before long the childhood vaccination schedule ballooned in parallel to chronic illnesses increasing as well.

A very large expansion of the surveillance powers of the US federal government. The very close relationship between members of the “Five Eyes” (“Five Is”?) I would be surprised if there aren’t already or soon to be analogous powers in U.K.
The constitutional rights that US citizens thought they had turn out to be without effect at the very moment you most needed them.
