Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash - this has now been officially confirmed.

Besides him, those flying with him also died:

- Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran,

- Malik Rakhmati, Governor of East Azerbaijan,

- Muhammad Ali al-Hashem, Imam of Tabriz.

And also four crew members.

Three Americans are accused of being involved in a failed coup attempt in Congo that left multiple people dead.

According to the Democratic Republic of Congo military, they stopped an attempted coup near the presidential palace.

Among the 50 people who were involved were three Americans who have been arrested.

A passport for one of these Americans is now spreading online, a 36-year-old U.S. citizen born in Maryland. (WaPo)

US ambassador to Congo, Lucy Tamlyn has acknowledged the involvement of US citizens in a recent statement.

The coup was allegedly led by US-based Congolese politician Christian Malanga.

He was killed at the presidential palace after he resisted arrest.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his foreign minister had an accident in a vintage helicopter that was over 40 years old. It is an American-made Bell 212 that was already in use during the time of the Shah of Persia. This Bell 212 was a civilian aircraft without armament or armor and, above all, a helicopter that could only fly by sight. At the time of the accident there was thick fog, sleet and a storm. So the conditions are already tough. However, the other two helicopters from the presidential entourage still landed safely. The advantage of such a vintage helicopter is that it does not require modern electronics and therefore cannot be redirected by an opponent like the Ukrainian combat drones are caused by Russian jamming impulses. Of course, that doesn't mean that someone couldn't have contributed to the accident.

Assange wins in Supreme Court – new appeal against extradition decision allowed.

This is a dreadful story, told by a gentleman with whom I share a messaging group & have known for around four years.

It’s a case of “medical battery”, where without permission from the sons of an elderly lady, a nurse entered her house and injected her, against her will. She had within the day lost the ability to walk.

It’s outrageous & made worse by the police, who refused to issue a crime number upon receiving a report from one of the sons.
