Approximately 1:1000 injections caused one death (far higher proportion of the elderly, fewer of the young) and approximately 3% suffered serious side effects, some of which are permanent.
Some estimates are much higher than this, around 10%, but 3% is defensible by reference to German medical insurance claims.

The Dunning-Kruger effect - the phenomenon where the less a person knows about an issue, the more confident a person is in their knowledge about the issue. A 2018 study by Ian G Anson published in the journal Political Psychology investigated how the Dunning-Kruger effect affects citizens’ perceptions of their political knowledge. Anson examined over two thousand American adults via two online surveys which quizzed the participants on basic political knowledge. Most participants of the study performed poorly and those who performed poorest were more likely to be confident in their knowledge of politics than those that performed well.
The Dunning-Kruger effect, combined with patronizing and pandering from politicians and the press, results in a poorly informed, but highly opinionated public. A hyper-emotional public is incapable of cool-headed, rational debate and is, instead, prone to political provocation and manipulation by media and power-hungry politicians.

In my not so humble opinion, she has some of the truth tellers right & the ones she lists as bad actors are as correct now as then.

In 2010, Canine Health Concern - the organisation Catherine O’Driscoll formed in the early 90s – petitioned the UK’s regulator of veterinary medicines, the VMD, to withdraw the licenses for one-year canine vaccines against distemper, parvovirus and canine viral hepatitis (also called adenovirus). The VMD was asked to do this because it is now scientifically accepted that ‘once immune to viral disease, dogs remain immune for years and probably for life’ (World Small Animal Veterinary Association). CHC and its supporters felt that, by withdrawing one-year vaccines, our dogs would no longer be over-vaccinated with vaccines they do not need, and subjected to unwanted vaccine reactions, some of which can be life-threatening. At the same time, hundreds of CHC members wrote to our MPs to ask them to support this request.

No MPs took this issue up, and the VMD refused to take one-year vaccines off the market.

Why is it acceptable to give dogs, cats, horses, and even children, vaccines they do not need, or which come with risks that potentially outweigh the diseases we are running from? Why is this not illegal?

Feelings cannot be controlled. You can only do 2 things: you can control the automatic execution of the feelings and you can do a kind of trauma therapy so that you "produce" other feelings over time. But you can't control the current feelings. You could work on it so that your future feelings are different than they are now.

It is very helpful to take all of the other person's feelings seriously and not see them as "wrong." Maybe that's even a necessary part of respect.

I have had such experiences that the better I can understand the feelings of the other person (or an animal), the less uncontrolled the execution of those feelings becomes. The hostile attitude changes to a friendlier one.
