Tubingen In a letter published on December 27, 2020, Prof. Dr. Thomas Aigner, Professor of Geosciences at the University of Tübingen, explained his resignation from the Academy of Sciences in Mainz and justified this with the inaction of this academy in relation to the ad hoc report of the national Leopoldina Academy of Sciences of December 8, 2020 in favor of another hard lockdown.

On behalf of thousands of doctors, researchers and scientists who are no longer heard in this "free democratic constitutional state" in which freedom of expression is supposed to be a "great good", we do not want to withhold this letter from you:
