⚠️ Kind attention to all Quantower users:

As you are aware of the upcoming SEBI API/Algo regulations effective from April 1, 2026, we are currently implementing the necessary changes on our end. An updated broker connection/version will be released by March 31, 2026, along with detailed setup instructions.

Please note the following key points under the new regulations:

You will continue to be able to connect to your broker and access market data, trading, holdings and order-related information.
If you are placing orders via Quantower, it is mandatory to use a static IP address, and this IP must be registered with your broker’s API portal (relevant links/details will be shared by your broker, if not already provided).
All orders placed via Quantower must be limit orders. Market orders will not be permitted.
You need to enable “Market Protection” in the connection settings before placing orders, which ensures orders are sent as limit orders with a price offset.

↔️ Important note for Kotak Neo users (for trading on Monday, March 30, 2026):

Static IP is not mandatory for this session (requirement applicable from April 1, 2026).
Market orders will not be supported. You must enable “Market Protection” in the connection settings before placing orders.

For the following brokers, regular connection is currently not supported. You can use Info Mode to access data. Message us for any assistance regarding info mode connection.

3. Brokers Currently Unavailable
The following connections are temporarily unavailable in all modes:

We are actively working on enabling Info Mode access for Symphony Supported brokers at the earliest. Updates will be shared on Telegram/WhatsApp.

Trading via Quantower
You may experience disruptions in trading, as Static IP is now mandatory under the new regulations.
We are currently evaluating all broker connections based on the latest changes implemented by brokers. A status update will be shared by end of day, and if required, a new version update will be released.
