Globally, there are over 200 million undiagnosed and untreated individuals living with hepatitis. Despite advancements in treatment, deaths from the virus are increasing: in 2022, 3,500 people a day – 1.3 million a year – died of hepatitis-related causes.
The WHO has set a goal to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030 through developing more advanced testing, expanding access to diagnostic tools, and encouraging the use of vaccinations. Quantori is proud to contribute to these efforts by supporting innovation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, as well as the global health system overall.
