Stress occurs naturally while preparing for an exam.

A little bit of stress is good. It brings out the best performance in us. Lets face it - Would you have been so determined to practice more if you were continuously getting top scores in your mock tests?

The problem with stress is that a lot of it can be counter productive.

So, how to manage it?

TIP 1) Engage in any form of activity

Could be Yoga, Cooking, Gardening etc. Helps your mind beat stress beforehand.

TIP 2) Change things a bit

Get a nice fragrance around you. Put on some music 🎶. Eat your favorite meal. Maggi with tomatoes, onions and lime juice is my favorite

TIP 3) Get away from your study area

Take a walk or go alone and spend time in nature for a little while to relax your mind. Spend some time thinking about something other than your study materials. Stress studying is not good. You will spend time, not learn anything and then criticize yourself.

TIP 4) Write

Write down what exactly is causing you the stress? What could you do to reduce it? What's the way out of it?

TIP 5) Just take a deep breath

Take a deep breath in and hold it for five seconds. Now let it out. Tell yourself that everything will work out in the end. Take a second to focus on the present and just chill out.
