Did you know that CAT 2024 is expected to be convened by IIM Kolkata - Joka for many?

IIM Kolkata last convened the paper in 2018

In both the slots of 2018
1) VA/RC was visibly easier than the past 2 - 3 years
2) DI/LR was only moderately difficult and easier than the past 2 - 3 years
3) QA was definitely tougher - Well IIMC definitely loves its numbers

For QA, the breakup was as follows

A) Number System 2
B) Algebra 8
C) Arithmetic 14
D) Modern Math 3
E) Geometry and Mensuration 7

I fully expect Arithmetic to return this year!

PS: It is still speculation that IIMC will make the paper. It just as easily can be another IIM

What could be some other titles you can give to this video? (Nothing offensive)

Top 3 reasons in my opinion why you are not able to solve your QA questions:

1. In a hurry to finish a topic, we compromise on the required depth. We don't try sufficient number of questions, for each topic, to build a sustainable base

2. In a hurry to solve a question, we often skip out on a crucial phrase OR don't even realise what the question is looking for OR use an unnecessarily long method to solve a question.

3. In a hurry to move to the next question, we forget to double check our work and get penalized with negative marks because of that!

The easiest way to avoiding all these during Mocks and actual exams is to:

A)

Practice avoiding the same during everyday practice, through any of the books or any coaching material

B)

Learn to slow yourself, calm your pacing heart and focus only on the questions only and nothing else
