A good experience learning mathematics can overcome these past feelings and success and future achievement in math can be attained.

Every expert was once a beginner

Ask an expert about their beginner phase, and they will tell you it was never easy.

What kept them going was their grit and refusal to stop just because they encountered a difficulty.

#IIMMumbai will announce admission policy and application form separately

IIM Mumbai will use the #CAT2023 score for admissions

Their website mentions an application fee for General Candidates - ₹2000/- for SC/ST/PwD ₹1000/-

My understanding is that, like IIFT, IIM Mumbai will take score separately this year at least and candidates would have to apply in addition to CAT.

Often I hear students saying, yeh nahin hota. Quant bahut difficult hai. etc. etc. etc

Ask yourself – “Have I really tried to work on this? Like Really, Really tried? Tried to the extent I would to find that perfect Insta – pose? Tried to the extent of using hacks in your favorite game?”

The answer often is NO.

And I get it, trying is hard. Trying and not succeeding in harder. I have seen many people so afraid that they wont even try. Trying can be daunting. Trying can be trying (get it? 😊)

But, trying can be relaxing too. Trying will often help you discover abilities you didn’t know had. Strengths you never knew existed.

Trying builds confidence and belief in yourself.

Coming to your CAT prep – Give it all you have. Read the topic before class. Prepare the #*#$ out of topic that scares you. You want a decent college, don’t you? After all, life at a B-school (and even after that) is definitely not a bed of roses. Trust me, I know! Ask your friends at a good B-school.

But that’s kind of the point. You want that! You want that life. You want that exhilarating feeling.

And you’ve got to try for that. You will spend sleepless nights later. Might as well start now and get a good percentile.

Only by trying.

Give me only a 👍 to let me know you have read so far.

Preparing for the CAT - 2 Month Guidance

It might become challenging, but with the right approach and strategies, it is possible. Here are some tips to help you prepare:

1. Understand Exam Pattern: Familiarize yourself with exam pattern, type and number of questions. This will help you plan your preparation and develop a strategy for tackling the exam.

2. Create Study Plan: Develop a study plan to cover all the topics and sections of the exam. Allocate sufficient time to each topic based on your strengths and weaknesses. Exact number of hours are your decision.

3. Practice regularly: Just making a study plan isn't going to suffice. Follow it diligently. Solve mock tests, sample papers, and previous years' CAT papers. This will help build your confidence and improve your time management skills.

4. Focus on weak areas: Work on developing your problem-solving skills and time management strategies to maximize your performance in the exam.

5. Take breaks: Taking short, periodic breaks can help you recharge your energy and stay focused. Engage in activities that help you relax and rejuvenate.

6. Stay motivated: Surround yourself with positive energy and stay committed to your preparation plan.

Remember that cracking CAT requires consistent effort, dedication, and hard work. By following these tips and developing a disciplined approach to your preparation, you can increase your chances of success in the exam.

I am getting a lot of messages from tensed students. Preparation not going as per plan. Scores not increasing. Scores fluctuating. Concentration wavering. Nervous in general.

Guys, please relax. This is just an exam. That's it.

It doesn't decide your worth. You do.

I understand there are hurdles. You thought it would be smooth. Expectation didn't match the reality.

So what??? This isn't the first time it has happened. This wouldn't be the last time either.

So take a deep breath. Relax. Give your best shot on 26th.

If it doesn't work out... well... let's try again next year.

Sincerely
Been there done that 😔

Profile of a 100%iler?

Anyone can be a 💯100%iler. There maybe one sitting next to you!

They may not have a 47th chromosome 🧬. They may not have been a topper 🏆 throughout their lives. They are just like you and I. They have their social 🎦media accounts and would have watched a plethora of web series🎬. And they might have continued to remain just ordinary, like the bulk of us.

However, they decided that it was high time to make a change. And they changed themselves. They reimagined themselves.

The real question here is DO YOU WANT AN ADMISSION IN A TOP B SCHOOL AND ARE YOU WILLING TO WORK FOR IT?

A 100 %iler has
1. A plan that needs to be followed diligently 📅
2. A dedication to stick to the plan despite numerous distractions 🎂🎦
3. A confidence to keep the morale up 😁
4. A courage to accept mistakes, rectify and then move on 🥉
5. A willingness to sacrifice and move out of their comfort zone 🎯

Not exactly "Rocket Science" is it? That's because it is not! The only thing between your current situation and your Dream B School is YOU! 🫵🏽
