An effective Statement of Purpose (SOP) is not just a list of achievements but a narrative to convey your story, motivation, and suitability for the opportunity.

SOP provides an opportunity to articulate goals, experiences, and reasons for pursuing MBA.

1. Why do you want to do an MBA? Discuss your motivation and how your background aligns with their goals

2. What are the values of the institution? Mention specific details to show that you've done your research. Show that you understand how it aligns to your personal and professional development

3. Highlight your academic and professional achievements. Discuss any research, internships, or work experiences that are directly related to your field of study or the job you're applying for.

4. Discuss your diverse perspective and how you will contribute to the community

5. End with a strong and memorable closing statement

6. Review your SOP multiple times for clarity, coherence, and grammar. Eliminate unnecessary details and ensure that your writing is concise and impactful. Seek feedback from mentors, professors, or colleagues.

Be regular with your efforts and sustain it

2 hours per day are infinitely better than 10 hours one day in a week
