Some students think, “I will target 75 or 80 marks and just clear the Mains cutoff.” Please don’t make this mistake.
You cannot depend on one interview day for your final selection. Interview marks are not as predictable as marks in a written paper.
If you want to reduce your dependency on the interview, aim to score at least 25–30 marks above the IBPS PO Mains cutoff. Then attend the interview calmly, behave confidently, answer whatever you know properly, and you will have a very strong chance of sailing through.
