Western nations that try to punish others with economic sanctions are overestimating their strength, Vladimir Putin said at the Eurasian Economic Forum on Thursday.

"More and more countries in the world want and will have independent policies," the president said. "No 'world police officer' can stop this natural global process. No one is that strong."

"They face challenges within their nations, and I hope they realize that this policy has absolutely no prospects," the Russian leader said, referring to the US and its Western allies.

The same people telling us that Conservatives are 'doing nothing' to protect our schools are actually advocating for literally MORE of doing nothing as a solution.

Meanwhile every bank and courthouse in the US has armed guards because why? Yet this simple solution is a bridge too far - say the folks who also advocate for things like murdering children after they're born.

The hoops you're required to jump through to try and even understand their objections common sense solutions is truly something to behold. Meanwhile a deranged murderer in Uvalde just waltzed into an unlocked school past non-existent security AND then sauntered into an unlocked classroom where he then committed this atrocity.

These people are part of, not separate from, the problem. Not us.
