World War III Has Already Started… in Cyberspace, says Top Russian FM Official

Cyberattacks have become so frequent and severe as to constitute a new, hidden, world conflict, according to Andrey Krutskikh, a Foreign Ministry official charged with overseeing the country's international cooperation on information security.

“A war is taking place, and taking place very intensely,” he said during an academic conference on Thursday, adding, “…In general, the media are correct to say this is already a Third World War. We just don’t know the extent of the damage, or who will lose in the end, or what the world’s configuration will be as a result of the war.”

Krutskikh also emphasized that Moscow hopes to work with the US to reduce the risks stemming from back-and-forth digital skirmishing.

Facebook Warns 50,000 Targeted by Spy-For-Hire Companies

Facebook has banned six firms and a Chinese law enforcement supplier from the platform.

50K users have told they may have been targeted. Meta has informed the authorities, and it follows legal action against the infamous firm behind Pegasus, NSO Group, for using WhatsApp to infiltrate devices.

People in more than 100 countries have been affected. One of the companies said to have been removed is Cytrox - a North Macedonian developer of iPhone and Android malware.

US blacklists Chinese biotech institutes accused of Uyghur surveillance

The US Commerce Department has restricted exports to China’s Academy of Military Medical Sciences and 11 research institutes over biotech work including “purported brain-control weaponry”.

Human rights groups have claimed unprecedented surveillance by Chinese authorities on Muslim Uyghurs using DNA tracing and AI to monitor them.

The blacklisted institutes said to be involved specialize in bioengineering, blood transfusions and toxicology, all of which can in theory “save lives”, but according to Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Beijing is using them control its people.

Shifty Schiff: Jan. 6 Committee Confirms Meadows 'Message' Doctored

The team investigating the US capitol riot has admitted to doctoring a text message between frm WH chief of staff Mark Meadows and Rep. Jim Jordan - which excluded details about the handling of electoral votes and VP at the time Mike Pence.

The Federalist has reported it was actually a direct quote from former Defense Dept. Inspector General Joseph Schmitz - not Meadows!

Head of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, showed a graphic of the message as he pushed for Meadows to be held in contempt of Congress.

Schiff also failed to mention that punctuation had been doctored and part of a sentence removed.... Meadows was voted to be in contempt of Congress.

If that's the level of integrity, what else is being doctored?

❗️Russian Foreign Ministry publishes draft proposals on Russia/US/NATO security guarantees

Moscow has proposed to NATO that an emergency hotline to resolve urgent issues be set up, and that both sides confirm they do not consider each other adversaries in draft security guarantee proposals, which include:

▪️Russia and NATO members only deploying armed forces in other countries with the consent of all parties to the agreement, with no missiles to be deployed within range of members

▪️NATO members committing to excluding Ukraine and other countries from joining the alliance, and to not conducting military activities in Ukraine and ex-Soviet states.

▪️Both sides committing to not establishing military bases in post-Soviet countries or develop military cooperation with them

▪️Nuclear weapons to not be deployed by members outside their territory, with existing nuclear assets to be returned inside their country’s borders
