Apart from words, little-to-nothing is done by French Catholic Church to protect kids, sexual abuse survivors tell RT

On Friday, the influential Bishops’ Conference of France (CEF) recognized that the Church bore “institutional responsibility” for scores of child abuse cases within its ranks. 

The statement came a month after an independent inquiry led by former Council of State Vice President Jean-Marc Sauve estimated that 216,000 children were abused by priests, deacons and other religious workers between 1950 and 2020.  

Arnaud Gallais, the founder of Prevenir et Proteger (Prevent and Protect), a support group for sexual abuse survivors, told RT the Church leadership's admission of responsibility was a “positive,” yet belated move.

⚡️Federal court FREEZES Biden’s vaccine mandate for businesses

Biden's mandate says companies with 100 or more employees must require their workers to either get the Covid-19 vaccine or be tested weekly. Numerous Republican states and companies, such as conservative outlet Daily Wire, have already presented legal challenges to Biden's controversial mandate before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit stepped in.

The court put a hold on the mandate on Saturday before its January deadline over “grave statutory and constitutional concerns.”

Thousands of protesters gathered in Melbourne, Australia to protest the state's vaccine mandates and a proposed COVID-19 pandemic bill. The march started at the State Library and ended at the Parliament House.

Victoria’s proposed pandemic legislation aims to give the Premier authority to declare a pandemic among other things.

Yellow Vests joins protesters demonstrating against COVID pass, taxes in Paris

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Paris on Saturday, to protest the recent health mandates, as well as to demand higher wages and lower taxes.
Riot police were seen escorting the march participants, who were joined by Yellow Vest protesters.

"We have our demands and they have never changed. We demand social and fiscal justice, lower taxes, higher wages for workers, and an increase in minimum retirement for disabled people so that they can live with dignity," said protester Najeh.

Najeh went on to describe the COVID-19 health pass and planned mandatory vaccinations as 'liberticidal laws.'

The gathering marked the 17th consecutive march against the COVID-19 health pass, with similar demonstrations taking place across the country.
