Both aircraft have flown in a trail formation, 0017 departed Andrews AFB, Maryland, ABIDE 55 took off from Warner Robins AFB, Georgia.
On some of these exercises both aircraft land at the same military base and simulate the 'hostage swap'. Someone posing as the President transfers from the C-32 to the E-4 to practice taking command of the nuclear arsenal on SILVER DOLLAR, the E-4."
