WH spox Jen Psaki said on Wednesday that Joe Biden has "complete confidence in [General Mark Milley's] leadership, his patriotism, and his fidelity to the Constitution." Adding: "The former president in this period of time fermented unrest leading to an insurrection."

Reports emerged on Tuesday that Milley allegedly called China without President Trump’s knowledge to assure them the US would not launch a nuclear strike in the last days of his administration.

President Trump and his allies, including Sen.Rubio, have called the move treasonous – accusing Milley of subverting the military chain of command and demanding consequences.
