Stellar (XLM) is making a strong case in the RWA tokenization market after the total value of tokenized assets on its network climbed to a record $3.5 billion.
According to data from RWA Foundation and Token Terminal, net inflows into Stellar-based investment funds reached $17.1 million, outperforming Ethereum’s $16 million and Polygon’s $5.9 million.
More notably, this growth has helped propel the blockchain to third place globally in RWAs under management, behind only Ethereum and BNB Chain.

At least 3 accounts at Pays ApS, a small Danish IT company, are linked to a major breach of the country’s civil registration system.
The compromised access allegedly allowed a hacker to retrieve information associated with approximately 8.8 million Danish Central Person Register (CPR) numbers, potentially exposing personal data on a substantial share of Denmark’s population.
Reportedly, the company’s admins used the password “123456,” a password ranked as the most common and least secure password in the world.

We’re partnering with Ripple to bring Privy wallets to the XRPL, making it easier for developers to build payments and agentic experiences on the network.🚀
For payments companies and fintechs, embedded wallets make it possible to offer stablecoin payments without requiring users to manage keys themselves. Server-side wallets can also give agents a way to hold and transact with funds, including through x402 payments.
“Stablecoins are changing how money moves, and XRPL has been building for payments from the start. We’re excited to make Privy wallets available to developers building on XRPL, from global payments to agentic commerce, and whatever comes next,” — Henri Stern, Cofounder and CEO of Privy.

🧬 DNA recording system reveals how a single cell becomes a body
Scientists have reconstructed a detailed family tree of cells in a developing mouse embryo, tracing their ancestry from the first division of a fertilized egg through 13.5 days of development. The breakthrough uses DNA Typewriter, a DNA-based recording technology developed by Dr. Jay Shendure and Junhong Choi, which stores a record of cellular history directly in DNA.
The research reveals how early cells multiply, specialize, and contribute to the formation of organs and tissues. The findings, published in Science on October 8, 2026, provide an unprecedented map of how a complex mammalian body develops from a single cell.
This technology could help researchers understand the origins of birth defects, genetic disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and cancer. It may also advance stem cell engineering and regenerative medicine by helping scientists guide cells toward specific identities for future therapies.🚀

The CFTC has begun developing a regulatory framework for crypto markets, seeking public input on how existing commodity laws should apply to leveraged retail transactions and the platforms facilitating them.
The CFTC has set December 14, 2026, as the deadline for public comments. The initiative would use the agency’s existing authority under Section 2(c)(2)(D) of the Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) to establish rules for certain retail commodity transactions involving crypto assets.
It also examines how designated contract market requirements could be adapted for platforms handling these transactions.

Federated Hermes (FHI), the Pittsburgh-based investment manager overseeing $911 billion in assets, plans to issue its first tokenized fund shares early next year, joining Wall Street's growing push to bring traditional investments onto blockchain rails.
The asset manager has partnered with plans to make the upcoming products available through traditional brokerages and financial advisers alongside New York-based digital securities infrastructure provider Prometheum.
“There's enormous interest in the industry at large around tokenized money market funds, [and] it aligns very well with the ballast of our franchise, which has been our liquidity funds,” — Barr said.
The move adds another major asset manager drawn to Wall Street's tokenization effort.

Anthropic's Frontier Red Team has demonstrated two components of a potential AI-powered worm that, if key issues with the practical implementation are resolved, could spread across consumer devices including inexpensive Android TV boxes and smart appliances, hypothetically without relying on datacenter infrastructure.
The experiments show that AI agents can configure inference across different hardware platforms and orchestrate replication across a network. There are still some serious limitations, though, particularly around the gap between the capabilities of today's models versus the hardware constraints of potential targets.

The FDA has approved the first drug designed to directly treat Alexander disease, an extremely rare neurological disorder that progressively damages the nervous system and can be fatal. The treatment, called Zanvastro, represents a major advance for patients who previously had no options beyond managing their symptoms.
Alexander disease can interfere with movement, thinking, and automatic bodily functions such as breathing and heart rate. Zanvastro is the first and only approved disease-modifying treatment for the condition, meaning it targets an underlying biological process responsible for the disease rather than simply relieving its effects.

Chainlink is unleashing a new wave of DeFi adoption on the Stellar network. With Chainlink’s Data Feeds and Data Streams now live on Stellar, developers have access to the market data needed to launch secure lending markets, prediction markets, perpetual futures, and other innovative onchain financial applications that connect the Stellar network’s growing RWA ecosystem to DeFi.
Chainlink creates a powerful engine for the Stellar network’s growth by removing a critical barrier to launching new DeFi applications, enabling developers to build the markets that attract new users and capital.
“Tokenization is only the beginning. For onchain financial markets to operate at institutional scale, assets need reliable infrastructure for pricing, execution, and movement.
Chainlink's oracle infrastructure strengthens that foundation by giving developers access to the data and connectivity required to build next-gen financial applications on Stellar.
As these layers mature together, the opportunity shifts from simply issuing assets onchain to putting them to work,” — Raja Chakravorti, Chief Business Officer, Stellar Development Foundation.

Science Corporation CEO Max Hodak announced that the company has implanted its vision-restoring chip, PRIMA, into its first patient with Stargardt disease, an inherited eye disease that gradually destroys central vision. Hodak envisions BCIs expanding beyond computer control into a wide range of medical applications.
PRIMA, already commercially available in Europe for patients with vision loss caused by geographic atrophy, could also help treat other retinal diseases, including Stargardt disease, a currently incurable condition that causes progressive central vision loss and affects around 150,000 people worldwide.
In May, the first patient with Stargardt disease received a PRIMA implant as part of a clinical trial at Sydney Eye Hospital in Australia. During rehabilitation, the patient was able to see a letter in the first session and read a word in the second, offering an encouraging early sign of the technology’s potential.

India will overhaul its examination system using technology and large question banks, Education Minister Pralhad Joshi said, as the government addresses weaknesses exposed by exam leaks and cheating allegations that triggered widespread student protests.
“We are making it more technology driven, making it more transparent, all those loopholes, we are plugging it now,” — Joshi said. The government wants an “overall change in the system,” including computer-based examinations as early as possible, he added.
