๐Ÿค– German firm debuts first 100+ qubit diamond-based quantum processors

German company SAXON Q has built a high-powered quantum computer that doesnโ€™t need a lab or giant supercoolers to run. The company announced the commercial launch of its SXQ128 and SXQ512 systems, scaling up to 128 and 512 qubits, respectively.

Both systems operate at room temperature with no cryogenic cooling, vacuum equipment or specialized facilities required, offering organizations the ability to run quantum convolutional neural networks (QCNN) and chemistry simulations, accelerate materials research and develop the quantum workflows that will define the next era of computing. These are the first quantum computers based on diamond nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers to break past the 10-qubit mark.

โ€œFor thirty years, NV-center quantum computing was a question of manufacturing โ€” whether we could place qubits with enough precision and yield to build something that works outside a laboratory. We solved that problem,โ€ โ€” said Marius Grundmann, co-founder and CEO of SAXON Q.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Maharashtra To Introduce DELTA Act For Blockchain-Based Property Tokenisation, First-Of-Its-Kind Law In India

The Maharashtra government is preparing a first-of-its-kind legal framework to allow blockchain-based property tokenisation through the proposed DELTA Act.

โ—๏ธThe Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the legislation should enable property owners to realise the latent value of their assets while creating new revenue streams for the state as it works towards becoming a USD 1 trillion economy by 2030.

๐Ÿ“Œ Fadnavis directed the Urban Development and Law & Judiciary departments to constitute an expert committee comprising representatives from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and domain experts to prepare a comprehensive legal framework.

๐ŸŸ Under the proposed law, immovable properties would be tokenised using blockchain technology, allowing digital transactions linked to the underlying value of land.

๐ŸŸ Fadnavis said the legislation should ensure legal certainty, transparency and protection of ownership rights while facilitating faster and more efficient property transactions.

If enacted, Maharashtra would become the first state in the country to introduce a dedicated law for blockchain-based property tokenisation. ๐Ÿš€

The U.S. Attorneyโ€™s Office for the District of Columbia, together with the U.S. Secret Service Washington Field Office announced multiple investigations conducted by its Cyber Fraud Task Force have resulted in the seizure of more than $25 million in cryptocurrency tied to international fraud schemes targeting residents of the United States and Canada.

The seizures represent part of the more than $800 million recovered through the Scam Center Strike Force, launched in 2025 by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro. In each of these five cases, launderers were predominantly located in Southeast Asia, with IP addresses located in China, Malaysia, and Cambodia.

โ€œOur investigators cut through complex laundering schemes, protected victims, and shut down criminal pipelines,โ€ โ€” said U.S. Attorney Pirro

๐Ÿค‘ In Hackenโ€™s Q2 2026 Security & Compliance Report, Tomer Weller shares his perspective on the Architecture of Trust and the security principles underpinning institutional blockchain adoption:

For more than a decade, the Stellar network has evolved alongside financial institutions and developers, delivering the reliability required for production while processing billions of operations. The Stellar Consensus Protocol provides an open and transparent validator model where participation and consensus can be independently verified.

As institutional expectations continue to evolve, our focus remains the same: building infrastructure where security, resilience, governance, compliance, transparency, and trust are architectural properties of the Stellar network. ๐Ÿš€

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿง‘โ€โš–๏ธ Republicans Release New Crypto Bill Text as Senate Eyes Vote Next Week

Senate Majority Leader John Thune is planning a vote on President Donald Trumpโ€™s landmark crypto market structure legislation as soon as next week.

โ—๏ธSenate Republicans circulated new text of a landmark cryptocurrency bill, unveiling changes to the so-called Clarity Act.

The final working draft of the Clarity Act has emerged days after talks with President Donald Trump led to a deal on how Republicans would address the effort's biggest remaining hurdle.

๐Ÿ“Œ That section would limit the president and other senior government officials from direct crypto ties, with the restriction currently set to expire in 2029 and the Department of Justice tasked with policing related ethics complaints.

๐ŸŸ The overall bill text is reflective of work in two relevant Senate committees โ€” Banking and Agriculture โ€” plus the addition of a lot of new language meant to ensure the safety of digital assets users and investors.

โ€ผ๏ธOne thing that may land as a significant relief for the DeFi corner of the industry is that the section known as the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act remains intact, meaning developers that don't control users' assets won't be treated under the regulatory regime as "money transmitters," with all the compliance burdens that would come with that.

The Senate is expected to need at least 10 Democrats to approve the final bill before it can become law, because of the chamber's requirement for 60 yes votes on most legislation.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The next big AI trade could be crypto and blockchain

Investors looking for the next AI trade should consider blockchain networks and crypto assets as autonomous AI agents begin transacting with one another, according to Franklin Templeton's Sandy Kaul.

โฌ‡๏ธKaul said agentic AI will require low-cost, programmable payment rails for machine-to-machine micropayments, making blockchains better suited than traditional financial networks.

Enabling machine-to-machine transactions requires secure, autonomous, verifiable, and high throughput record-keeping. Legacy credit card and banking infrastructures are unsuited for agentic micropayments due to their fee structures.

Agentic AI will likely need to rely on crypto technologies and blockchains to enable their activities as these rails are ideally suited for these use cases.

๐Ÿ“Œ Indeed, blockchains and crypto technologies are likely to become the foundational delivery layer for these transactions based on the following attributes:

โ†’ Autonomous Contract Creation / Fulfillment;
โ†’ Decentralized Identity Verification;
โ†’ Auditability;
โ†’ Access to Decentralized Computing & Data;
โ†’ Speed and Fulfillment.

๐Ÿ”œ Her thesis aligns with Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire's view that AI agents and blockchain are converging into a single economic system where software can transact, coordinate and exchange value autonomously.

Unlike generative AI, which creates text, images or code in response to prompts, agentic AI is built to complete tasks with little human input.๐Ÿ”ฃAn AI agent could book travel, compare prices, buy computing power, retrieve data or manage software workflows on a user's behalf.

That shift is already beginning.

๐Ÿค‘ Why Compliant Privacy Is a Business Requirement for Fintech Companies

On-chain payments have reached a point where fintech teams can treat public blockchains as settlement infrastructure.

โžก๏ธ Stellar is one of the clearer examples: stablecoins, tokenized assets, payroll products, and treasury platforms already use the network for payment and liquidity flows.

The harder question now is whether those flows can support regulated business activity. Fintech companies cannot move serious payment volume on public rails if every transfer exposes counterparties, amounts, timing, and operating patterns. Regulated markets also require identity checks, audit access, and reporting.

โ—๏ธThat creates the need for compliance-ready privacy: transactions stay confidential by default, while specific data can be disclosed through scoped and auditable workflows when review is required.

Arcane Finance is building that privacy and compliance layer on Stellar, so payment companies can use shared settlement rails without exposing sensitive business data by default. ๐Ÿš€
