In the above documents, this is how the DTCC will use XRP, according to crypto researcher SMQKE.
🎯 It was always about the “plumbing”.
Outside of working group participation in the tokenization platform, the XRPL also has an entry point to the service through DTCC’s acquisition of Securrency, which is the exact means by which Stellar was able to be utilized by the DTCC.

Britain has designated cloud service providers Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle as critical third-party suppliers to its financial sector, bringing them under direct regulatory oversight from July 13. The move is aimed at strengthening the resilience of financial firms by reducing the risk of widespread disruption from cyber attacks or technology outages.
"As banks, insurers and financial market infrastructures become increasingly reliant on cloud services, disruption at a major supplier could affect multiple firms at the same time, potentially impacting services customers depend on," the government said.

A group of crypto and Web3 firms that includes OKX, MetaMask, Matter Labs and Genlayer have formed the “Internet Court” to reach dispute resolutions between AI agents.
“Internet Court is the shared place agents can turn to when a deal goes wrong. Machine-speed money needs machine-speed adjudication,” — said David Riudor, CEO and co-founder of the GenLayer Foundation.
“With our founding members, we’re turning a fragmented space into a single open skill that any agent can use to make financial commitments hold up, even when they're contested,” — said Albert Castellana, co-founder and CEO of GenLayer Labs.

Hyundai, the world’s third-largest carmaker by vehicle sales, moved a stablecoin-based, cross-border, internal remittance system into production readiness on the Avalanche blockchain, becoming the first major South Korean company to do so.
"Hyundai is the first major enterprise to publicly announce this type of implementation on Avalanche, but the initiative represents more than a technical experiment," said Justin Kim, head of APAC at Ava Labs, which develops and supports the blockchain platform.
"This is already a real treasury management use case, not a sandbox — the pilot moved live USD and USDT between Hyundai Motor's U.S. and Mexico entities.”

Silicon chips have been the foundation of modern computing for decades. Now, researchers are giving them an entirely new role in biotechnology. In addition to processing information, these chips are increasingly being used to study living systems by recording activity from neurons, reading DNA, and now even creating DNA. Synthetic DNA is essential for many areas of modern science and medicine, including diagnostics, genome engineering, and cancer research.
In a new study published in Nature Electronics, a Harvard led research team unveiled a silicon chip capable of synthesizing 64 different DNA sequences at the same time. Instead of relying on the solvent intensive chemical process commonly used to manufacture synthetic DNA, the device uses a water based enzymatic approach. Carefully controlled electrical currents trigger DNA building reactions at specific locations across the chip.

The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is a major bipartisan U.S. housing bill set to make housing more affordable, in part through encouraging more construction and more financing options. One part of that bill impacts the crypto industry — a ban on CBDCs.
