"The proposed rules may provide greater certainty to the market, facilitate capital formation, and accommodate innovation within the crypto asset markets while, at the same time, ensuring that investors are adequately protected and provided with the information they need to make informed investment decisions," the agency said in the agenda.

Toyota announced that it plans to double the size of its manufacturing campus in San Antonio by 2030, a $3.6 billion expansion that the Japanese auto company said could generate an estimated 2,000 additional jobs in the state.

Meta Platforms Inc. will invest around $10 billion to build its first data center in Canada as the company expands its infrastructure to support its AI ambitions.
The Sturgeon County, Alberta-based data center will have one gigawatt of power capacity — the equivalent of the power used by around 750,000 homes — and will be largely run on natural gas-fired power. Meta said it’s funding the new electrical generation, which will be connected to Alberta’s grid.
