⚡️🇺🇸 Trump's administration has brought U.S. onshore wind development to a halt, citing national security concerns

Approvals for about 165 onshore wind projects on private lands are being held up by the Pentagon, citing the American Clean Power Association and people close to the matter. Wind farms typically require approval to avoid radar interference, which has now faced significant setbacks.

The affected projects include wind farms that were awaiting final sign-off, others in the middle of negotiations and some that typically would not require oversight by the Pentagon.

💊 World-First Study Reveals Human Hearts Can Regenerate After a Heart Attack

Groundbreaking work led by specialists from the University of Sydney, the Baird Institute, and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney has found that heart muscle cells can regrow after a heart attack, a process that had previously only been observed in mice.

This study is the first globally to analyze tissue collected from living patients during bypass surgery. By establishing a reliable way to collect living heart tissue, the team has created a laboratory model that can be used to investigate new approaches to repairing the human heart.

“Our research using these samples has identified several proteins that have previously been shown to be involved in the regeneration of the heart in mice, which is a very exciting prospect to now translate to humans,” — said Professor Sean Lal from the School of Medical Science.

This discovery points toward the future development of regenerative treatments for cardiovascular disease.

🤑 Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) Makes Strategic Investment in Ascend to Accelerate Compliant RWA Infrastructure Development

Ascend and the SDF today announced a strategic partnership to advance the development of compliance-first credit infrastructure for RWAs on the Stellar blockchains. Central to this partnership is $1 million in direct investment support for Ascend.

🟠Ascend is being built by PSG Digital Labs, the technology arm of PSG Digital, a globally licensed asset management and digital investment platform. The protocol is designed to provide the first compliant credit market infrastructure for onchain regulated RWA collateral, building on the identity-aware token standard ERC-3643.

❗️Ascend's infrastructure is architected from the ground up for regulated assets: enforcing eligibility and transfer controls at the asset layer. This approach enables tokenized assets to function as productive collateral in permissioned credit vaults, and connects institutional RWAs to DeFi liquidity without compromising regulatory posture. 🔃

“Ascend's compliance-first approach aligns directly with how institutions actually operate, and that's what makes them a natural partner for the SDF. This is how RWAs move from being issued onchain to being actively used across financial markets at scale," - said Jose Fernandez da Ponte, President and Chief Growth Officer of the SDF.

🤝 Together, the partnership extends Ascend's regulated asset infrastructure to the Stellar network, enabling ERC-3643-standard assets originating on Stellar to access Ascend's permissioned vault and credit framework — and in doing so, establishing a shared foundation for compliant institutional finance on public blockchains.
