🔥PyroOS 4.0, Sneak Peek

I’ll be honest, PyroOS 3.0 didn’t quite live up to expectations, and for that, I truly appreciate your patience and support. 🙏

Here’s what’s brewing:

⚡️ Custom 4.14 Pyro kernel, powered by Surblazer’s source

🎮 4.19 GPU drivers for smoother graphics, huge thanks to Aero

🔒 SukiSU and KPM integration with the help of Khayloaf

i also bring back the sdcardfs, aero mentioned

This isn’t just an update, it’s a complete reboot of speed, power, and stability. PyroOS 4.0 is built to wash away the PyroOS 3.0

Thanks to Surblazer source, we now have EROFS on 4.14 Pyro kernel

Combo is complete:
▸ 4.19 GPU drivers on 4.14 Aero
▸ SukiSU + SusFS + KPM Khayloaf
▸ EROFS filesystem Surblazer

With EROFS, the ROM compiles fully with dex2oat (too much effort for me but worth it 😅) → results in a much smoother first boot

All mandatory bugs fixed (special thanks to Anh for some patches)

⚠️ About EROFS

System is read-only (R/O) → can’t mount as R/W

But you can still remove preinstalled apps you don’t want

This file contains a comprehensive cheatsheet of real Android system properties (props) extracted directly from the frameworks of MIUI / HyperOS.

* ✅ All props listed here are valid and exist in production ROMs.
* ✅ Each entry includes the actual property key + its value.
* ✅ Saves you the trial-and-error of guessing whether a prop works or not.

Extracting this set of props with their correct values took me around 3–4 days of manual digging and verification.

📌 PyroOS – Suspension Notice

With a heavy heart, I must announce that PyroOS is now suspended. For the time being and possibly for the long term development will not continue.

During this suspension, my private messages will remain closed. Please understand: contacting me via PM will only result in being blocked, even if we are friends.

I want to thank everyone who stood with PyroOS and supported its journey. Your encouragement and contributions have meant a lot. Sadly, due to certain circumstances especially the issues with @NEESCHAL_3 , I can no longer continue development right now.

Before I step back, I will be sharing the PyroOS 4.0 kernel and vendor soon, so that other developers can use them to improve their own ROMs and keep the spirit of PyroOS alive in some way.

The admins of this channel can release their own roms here without limitations.

I wish you all the best in your future projects.

📌 PyroOS 4.0 Kernel & Vendor Release

As promised, I am releasing the PyroOS 4.0 kernel and vendor to the community.
These are now available for other developers to use in their own projects, to optimize, improve, and build upon.

Even though PyroOS is suspended, I hope this release helps others create better ROMs and keeps a piece of PyroOS alive through their work.

This archive contains:

Pyro Kernel with all the things mentioned before.

Pyro vendor, with all the optimizations and features like Dolby.

r32 fw, make sure to use the fw or you will brick.

The boot.img includes the ofox by Jeff as well as the Pyro kernel.

Dear devs be aware for using Erofs you need to use both vendor and boot.img of the archive cuz they have the required patches for erofs to work.
