Modern houses have been built at the Chilgol Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Municipality and public and production buildings at the Toksan Farm under the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee, giving face-lifting to farm villages.
Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Municipality successfully completed the project for building 150 low-storeyed flats, prioritizing the quality of structures.
A hall of culture, office building, pharmacy and kindergarten were newly built at the Toksan Farm under the South Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee to ensure the work of agricultural workers and offer the convenience in their life.

KCNA:Economic Guidance Intensified in DPRK

KCNA:The Ryugyong Mushroom Farm, situated in the suburbs of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, has contributed to improving the diet of citizens.
The farm is a modern mushroom producer with industrial and intensive production lines and all conditions necessary for mushroom cultivation.
On January 9, 2015, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built farm and said that the farm was built as intended by the Workers' Party of Korea, calling for helping Pyongyangites really benefit from it.
He indicated the tasks and ways for putting mushroom production on a scientific, intensive and industrial basis of a higher level.
True to his noble intention, the farm has put forward the solution of the substrate problem decisive of the success of mushroom production as its main task, studied and introduced substitute substrate to put production on a normal footing and used waste substrate for reproduction.
It improved the sterilization technologies and ensured proper temperature.

Now, the enemies are trying to destroy the unity of our Party and people by making mean remarks such as that we will carry out some kind of “reform” or “openness”. The picturesque villages, built thanks to the ardent love and devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, show the beautiful future of the modern socialist countryside.
There took place ceremonies of moving into those houses. Attending them were officials of the Party and power organs in the province, city and county, builders and agricultural workers.
Addresses were made at the ceremonies before the licenses for the use of houses were handed over to the farmers. And speeches were made there.
Congratulatory performances and cheerful dancing parties were given, adding to the pride and self-confidence of the agricultural workers. -0-
