KCNA:Evening Gala of Youth and Students Held
Youth and students had an evening gala at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang on Wednesday evening on the occasion of the New Year 2026.
When the song "Cheers of the People" resounded in the night sky of the square, a delightful and optimistic dancing party began.
Through the dancing party, the participants paid the highest glory to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new era of excitement and overall development in which the people's dreams and ideals come true with his extraordinary political ability and outstanding and seasoned leadership.

KCNA:New Hospitals in DPRK Start Operation
Modern hospitals, built in Kangdong County of Pyongyang Municipality and Kusong City of North Phyongan Province under the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on regional development and its plan for modernizing public health, have begun their operation on the occasion of the New Year.
Kangdong County Hospital and Kusong City Hospital started their medical service for the residents in regions on December 31, 2025.
Many residents visited the hospitals, upon hearing the news of the start of their operation.

The Tokam Farm of the Kaesong Municipal Rural Economic Committee in the DPRK has been renovated under the far-reaching plan of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee to turn the rural villages into more civilized and beautiful socialist fairyland.
New public buildings with good working and living conditions were erected at the farm in keeping with the wonderful modern dwellings built year after year to provide all the farmers with a new life of rural civilization.
A ceremony for inaugurating those public buildings and production buildings took place on the spot.
Present there were Ri Sung Jin, chairman of the Kaesong Municipal Rural Economy Committee, officials concerned, builders, and officials and working people of the farm.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round with emotion and joy various parts of the farm showing a new appearance of civilization along with the era of the Workers' Party.
An art performance was given to celebrate the auspicious event at the farm village and the happy laughter of people resounded.

Modern houses have sprung up at Kujang and Muan farms in Tokchon City and the Sampha Farm in Sinyang County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK.
The change of farm villages embodying the Workers' Party of Korea's idea of people-first architecture and its idea of rural construction in the new era is a precious fruition of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's devoted efforts for the people.
Ceremonies of moving into those new houses took place on the spots with the attendance of officials in the province, Tokchon City and Sinyang County and builders and agricultural workers.
Congratulatory addresses were made there and licenses for the use of new houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.
