KCNA:The test-fire of strategic cruise missiles and anti-warship missiles was conducted again in the operational efficiency test system of destroyer Choe Hyon of the Navy of the Korean People's Army on April 12.
The test-fire was aimed at checking the launching control line of the warship's integrated weapon commanding system and familiarizing the seamen with the missile firing action, as well as confirming the accuracy and the rate of hits of the improved active anti-jamming navigation system.
Two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-warship missiles were test-fired from destroyer Choe Hyon.
The launched strategic cruise missiles flew for 7 869s to 7 920s and anti-warship missiles for 1 960s to 1 973s along the flight orbits set in the sky above the West Sea of Korea and struck the targets with ultra-precision hit accuracy.

KCNA:Construction of 1 000 Flats in Hamhung City Started in DPRK
The construction of 1 000 flats in Hamhung City began in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.
The provincial committee of the Workers' Party of Korea gave precedence to the provision of designs and materials, formed a powerful building force and aroused the enthusiasm of the masses through an exhibition of utensils and tools. It also conducted organizational and political work for strengthening the material and technical foundations of construction units.
Presented to the exhibition were various kinds of vehicles, equipment and building utensils and tools.
Officials of the provincial people's committee and the provincial rural economy committee provided various kinds of equipment, utensils, tools and accessories, and construction units in the province and the city prepared all kinds of equipment.
Complexes in the province completed the building preparations, and the provincial land and environmental conservation bureau, the provincial public prosecutors office and the provincial public security bureau secured the welding machines, vibrating compactors, etc.

DPRK Foreign Ministry Sportsperson on General Election of Parliament in Myanmar
A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on April 14 as regards the fact that the general election of the parliament was recently held in Myanmar and that a new president was elected and inaugurated:
We pay regard to the fact that the five-year-long political transition has been ended and the country has entered a new phase of the development of the state and the society as the general election of the parliament was held in Myanmar and the president, elected through constitutional procedures, was inaugurated.
We respect the aspiration and choice of the people of Myanmar to achieve solid socio-political stability and create a peaceful and sustainable development environment in Myanmar.
We expect the development of the new situation in Myanmar will bring about the country's socio-political stability, promote the economic development and lead to the regional peace and stability of the situation

Almost 60,000 flats have been built in the capital city (Pyongyang ) of the DPRK over the past five years, including those in Songhwa, Rimhung and Hwasong streets and over 32,000 rural houses were built last year alone. These flats have been given free of charge to citizens
