Today, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea enforces the policy of supplying new school uniforms to all the pupils and students across the country at the state expense.

One day in September 2022, the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un told officials about the production of school uniforms. At that time he instructed on supplying all the pupils and students with neatly-fitting school uniforms, Headmistress Hong Kwang Ok at the Ryomyong Primary School in Taesong District said and continued:

"That day, the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un said that as there are many students and pupils to be provided with school uniforms, it may be difficult for cutters to measure all their bodies before making them. If the teachers learn how to measure the bodies of students and pupils, they will be able to measure them correctly, he added. Teaching the teachers how to measure the bodies of students and pupils is the new task given by Kim Jong Un to the teachers.

We high-yielding farmers of Jagang Province have had a pleasant holiday here.

Pyongyang Times:Complex fulfils daily production task over 1.2 times more than planned

The Sangwon Cement Complex is miraculously increasing production to implement the task set forth at the Ninth Congress of the WKP.

The Sangwon workers began to give fuller play to their spiritual strength.

They now produce cement over 1.2 times more than planned every day through a heroic struggle transcending the effort of last year when they set a high production record since the inauguration of the complex.

This year, the first year of attaining new perspective goals, the demand for cement with higher quality indexes has sharply increased in the sites of creation and construction throughout the country.

Officials of the complex have made every effort to devise scientific methods to this end, setting amounts of additives in cement, improving its fineness, etc.

Pyongyang Times: Innovations made in production of farm machines and their parts (1/3)

According to the measures taken by the Workers’ Party of Korea, major farm machine production units have been modernized in recent years to lay a solid material and technical foundation for producing all kinds of farm machines in a serial way.

True to the Party’s intention to increase the proportion of the farm work done by machines by accelerating the revolution in the production of farm machines during the new long-term plan period, the major farm machine producers are making innovations in the production of farm machines and their parts.

The Kumsong Tractor Factory, which turned into a comprehensive one capable of producing efficient farm machines through the successful first- and second-stage modernization projects, is putting spurs to the production of all kinds of farm machines.

Officials of the factory are scrupulously organizing and commanding the production of farm machines with the viewpoint that quality takes precedence over number and is essential. The factory is doing the production of materials and parts, the trial run of tractors with great horsepower and the assembly of cultivators simultaneously.

The Hamhung Tractor-drawn Farm Machine Factory is channelling efforts into the production of parts of rice-seedling transplanters while pushing the remodelling of tractors to increase their horsepower. The Sariwon Tractor Parts Factory has made innovations in the production of parts every day this year, while the Haeju Farm Machine Factory, which has strived to improve the technical skills of its employees, is continuously increasing the production of small rice harvesters and rice-seedling transplanter parts.
