Pyongyang Times: Ranks of technicians, skilled workers built up at new regional-industry factories
At the 19th Enlarged Meeting of the PB of the 8th CC of the WKP, Kim Jong Un stated the problem of training technicians and skilled workers needed for the operation of the factories, as well as the problems of setting the proper size and production capacity of regional-industry factories and creating raw materials bases.
Under the unified guidance of the state, a well-regulated system was established in the capital and regional areas to train technical personnel in a specialized and systematic way.
As a result, the effort for training the core forces steering the normalization of production improvement of quality with the construction of modern regional-industry factories.
In 2024, took place technical training courses on a nationwide scale for thousands of employees of newly built factories. 52% of the total employees in these factories became excellent technicians, in 2025 over 60%.

KCNA:DPRK Salt Industry Sector Fulfills Quarterly National Economic Plan
Officials and workers in the salt industry sector fulfilled its national economic plan for the first quarter of this year.
The Kwangryangman Salt Works carried out its quarterly plan at more than 157 percent by dint of science and technology.
Officials and employees of the Namyang Salt Works registered remarkable results by concentrating their efforts on raising the proportion of mechanization. They secured spare parts and strengthened the responsibility and role of operators and water caretakers. As a result, the operation rate of equipment used for the realignment of salt fields and transport and the efficiency of water circulation system were improved to produce hundreds of tons of more salt than planned.
Kwisong, Unha and Kumsong salt works took technical measures to raise the salinity of seawater and conducted socialist emulations while taking responsible care of evaporating and crystallization ponds and storage facilities, thus revitalizing production.
The Onchon Tile Factory and the Salt-making Machine Repair Plant made successive innovations while improving the performance of kilns and machine tools and giving precedence to the supply of raw and other materials.

Ryugyong Dental Hospital has been successful in different events of the annual tournament.
In the past the hospital has widely encouraged its staffs to take part in sports activities, which promotes the harmony and unity of the collective and makes everyone joyful and optimistic.
The hospital officials made it duty-bound for all the staffs to be engaged in more than one event including basketball, volleyball, table-tennis and Taekwon-Do on the occasion of the day of sports every month and they took the lead in the effort.
Specifically they organized colourful matches to stimulate competitiveness and collectivism among the employees.

KCNA:Success at Koryo Medicine General Hospital
The Constitutions Institute of Koryo Medicine General Hospital in the DPRK has developed the Koryo medicine-based system 2.0 of classifying human constitutions, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The system is composed of categories of constitutional examination and knowledge.
The constitutional examination analyzes the constitution by examining relevant indices reflecting the structural elements of constitutions through verbal and ocular inspection, voice analysis, constitutional elements analysis and 3-D constitutional probing. The constitutional knowledge tells daily regimen, prescriptions and therapies suited to different constitutions, including constitutional characteristics and know-how in regimen.
The system helps minimize the morbidity and prevent diseases by classifying the human constitutions more accurately and informing the users of the appropriate regimen and methods of treatment. In addition it makes it possible to conduct a scientific diagnosis according to constitutions, thus shortening the period of treatment and increasing the effect of treatment.
In December last year, the medical workers of the institute, who made achievements conducive to the development of Koryo medicine, were awarded the certificate of application of state sci-tech achievements.
