KCNA: Welcoming Aleksandr Lukashenko who is visiting the DPRK for the first time since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed support to and solidarity with the policy of the Belarusian leadership for achieving the socio-political stability and economic development of the country and defending the sovereign right in the international arena.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un for kindly inviting him to visit Pyongyang and said that although the two countries are geographically far apart, the bilateral relations based on the long-standing traditions of friendship and common feelings have entered a new development stage today.
They signed the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Belarus. And then the two sides signed agreements on cooperation in various fields including diplomacy, information, agriculture, education and public health.

An artistic performance was given at the Ice Rink on March 26 to welcome Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, on an official visit to the DPRK with the friendly feelings of the Belarusian people.
Through famous songs on patriotism, the performers truthfully represented the genuine love for the country and the feelings of devotion to it and the ardent desire of the DPRK people to build a powerful state without fail.
The graceful and impressive rhythm of figure skating and cheerful tune of folk songs revved up the atmosphere of the performance, creating a beautiful and fascinating lyric world.
The same day a reception was done for both. The participants in the reception toasted the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and the Republic of Belarus.
The reception proceeded in an amicable and warm atmosphere.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Pang Sun Sil, a woman living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 14, Hadan-dong No. 1 of Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province, on her 100th birthday.
Upon receiving the birthday spread at a wonderful new house, the centenarian expressed her deep gratitude to the Workers' Party of Korea for repeatedly bestowing loving care on an ordinary old woman and her family.
She, who keenly realized the value of the country through her bitter life before national liberation, had devoted her patriotic mind and efforts to the farming for several decades, with a single mind to repay the benevolence of the country which put her forward as the master of land and provided her with a genuine life.
She brought up her children well to work at difficult and labour-consuming posts of socialist construction. Even after becoming a pensioner, she did good things for the society and collective.
