KCNA: A ceremony took place at Kim Il Sung Square on March 25 to welcome Comrade Alexandr Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, who is paying an official visit to the DPRK at the invitation of Comrade Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Seen standing at the square were the poles with national flags of the DPRK and the Belarusian Republic, the guard of honor and the honorary cavalry of the Korean People's Army, and the Central Military Band of the Ministry of National Defence.
Kim Jong Un appeared at the venue for the ceremony of welcoming the Belarusian president.

There was a march-past of the guard of honor of the KPA.
Alexandr Lukashenko expressed his heartfelt thanks to the DPRK government and people for their sincere hospitality.

KCNA:Successes Made at Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factories in DPRK
Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in South Phyongan Province of the DPRK are increasing the production, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The province concluded the renovation of its city and county Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories, as planned, and put their production lines on a GMP basis till last year to ensure the mass-production of efficacious traditional medicines.
Those factories, with renovated production and office buildings and various kinds of production and analysis equipment and environmental facilities, are now developing new products and improving their quality while boosting the production.
This year, the production of traditional medicines has increased as against the past period and the variety of products expanded in the province

KCNA: Welcoming Aleksandr Lukashenko who is visiting the DPRK for the first time since the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed support to and solidarity with the policy of the Belarusian leadership for achieving the socio-political stability and economic development of the country and defending the sovereign right in the international arena.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un for kindly inviting him to visit Pyongyang and said that although the two countries are geographically far apart, the bilateral relations based on the long-standing traditions of friendship and common feelings have entered a new development stage today.
They signed the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Belarus. And then the two sides signed agreements on cooperation in various fields including diplomacy, information, agriculture, education and public health.
