Worldwide, there exists no tactical weapon that surpasses the performance of this weapon system.
This will be so in the coming few years.
Certainly, however, we will never mark time till that time, being content with this.
I always hold our defence scientists in respect and appreciate them for developing such a weapon system.
As I have already stated, our powerful attacking capability is, in effect, for defending ourselves.
It is because the most powerful attacking capability precisely means a reliable defence capability.
It is, in the true sense of the word, a means of deterring war.
But in case such deterrents of a defensive nature do not prevent foreign forces from launching an armed provocation or invading our state to jeopardize the security of its sovereignty, they will immediately be used for their second mission, i.e., as a means of massive, destructive strike.
As I have said several times, if this weapon is used, the opponent's military infrastructure within its striking range can never survive.
Our Party and the government of the Republic will maintain durable peace by means of powerful military capabilities.
Peace is something that should be defended rather than desired.

Working people's organizations of the DPRK planted trees on the occasion of the Tree-planting Day.
Officials of the Central Committee of the youth league, youth league officials and members in Pyongyang, the commanding officers and members of the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade planted hundreds of trees of over 10 species at the April 15 Children's Flower Garden.
Young people in South and North Hwanghae provinces and other parts of the country, too, fulfilled the technical requirements in pit digging, humus soil carpeting and earth covering in order to increase the survival rate.

The winter aesthetic symposium in the urban management sector-2026 took place at the Sci-Tech Complex via video conferencing on March 13.
Attending the symposium on the theme of "Creating greenery and protecting ecological environment" were officials, scientists and technicians from relevant sectors, including the urban management, land and environment protection, design, construction and supervision in Pyongyang and provinces (municipalities).
The participants watched a video on the successes made in landscaping for the past five years.
Speakers stressed that under the wise leadership of the Party, modern apartment buildings, rural dwelling houses and regional-industry factories, which comprehensively embodied the Party’s idea on the Juche-oriented architectural beauty and the people-first idea, have been built in Pyongyang and other parts of the country and models of distinctive landscaping with local characteristics created, thus giving a face-lift to the country and achieving many successes in improving the ecological environment.
A lecture on scientific and technological issues arising in the creation and management of greenery was given and a video on advanced landscaping technology shown at the symposium.

An efficient manual iron bar cutter, concrete mixer and pump manufactured by the brigades of North Hamgyong Province, Pyongyang Municipality, South Hwanghae and North Phyongan Provinces on the basis of new technology drew the attention of participants.
At the ceremony of putting vehicles in service, the construction mechanization brigade and the High-Speed Youth Shock Brigade were highly appreciated as they took the lead in ensuring the normal operation of vehicles.
