KCNA:Meeting of Workers and Trade Union Members Held in DPRK
A meeting of workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) took place at the Chollima Steel Complex on March 11 to vow to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Ri Won Jong, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, made a speech.
The speaker said that the speeches made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Ninth Party Congress are an immortal programme indicating the most scientific orientation of struggle, goals and practical tasks for giving further momentum to the era of comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism with confidence.
Saying that thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, the victory in carrying out the new five-year plan is certain and the people's ideals and aspirations will surely come true, he called upon all the workers and trade union members to wage a dynamic struggle for the brilliant implementation of the decisions.

Admin’s note: It seems that, after almost 6 years of cutting 90% trade with China, rails and communication links are reconstructed. The Cabinet and organs for economic guidance are organizing the brisk economic work for putting the overall socialist construction on the track of firm qualitative development and epoch-making leaps forward, along the bright path of national prosperity indicated by the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

KCNA:Stamp Exhibition Opens
A stamp exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Korean Stamp Exhibition House on March 12 on the lapse of 80 years since the first stamp was issued in the DPRK.
Displayed at the exhibition on the theme of "Looking back on the 80-year history of Korean stamp" are more than 1 400 kinds of stamps and securities with their issuing dates. They show the proud history of Korean stamps.
Also on display are stamps of various themes and forms presented by philatelists in Pyongyang.
Attending the opening ceremony were Ju Yong Il, minister of IT Industry, officials concerned and philatelists in Pyongyang.
Also present were foreign guests including members of the diplomatic missions here.
