KCNA:Greeting Cards for Int'l Women's Day Produced in DPRK
New greeting cards carrying best wishes, respect, love and affection for women have been produced in the DPRK on the occasion of the March 8 International Women's Day.
Written on those cards are such letters as "Congratulations on March 8 International Women's Day" and "Congratulations on March 8" and depicted on them are bouquets and flowers presented to the women across the country.
Among them are those dealing with the women workers who are leading a worthwhile life at modern factories newly built in different parts of the country through the perfect implementation of the Workers' Party of Korea's regional development policy.

VOK:Successes reported in forestry field
Successes are reported in the field of forestry.
According to data available, 19 units including the Hwaphyong Forestry Station carried out their yearly mountain timber production plans.
The Hwaphyong Forestry Station under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau and different units under the South Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau including the Jangjin Forestry Station rationalized manpower allotment and actively conducted technical innovation emulation to increase the timber production.
Timber producers of different units under the Ryanggang and North Hamgyong provincial forestry management bureaus overfulfilled their assignments every day while keeping close contact between the processes.
Many units under the North Phyongan and Kangwon provincial forestry management bureaus also brought about good results in carrying out the plans for each process by raising the rate of mechanized work and conducting mass movements.

One day in July 2015, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the then Rangnang Hygiene Products Factory.
Looking at the products on display with pleasure, he gave an undeserved estimation that those who had used the products of the factory say they are the best.
After a while, he carefully looked at a product and pointed out that its brand did not look cultured and good and that the calligraphic style of the brand letters was not nice-looking.
He said trademarks should be made in a noble and cultured way in conformity with the aesthetic tastes and emotion of the people.
Saying that the flower drawn on the ground of the product of the factory is not a flower peculiar to our country, he gave detailed instructions on improving the brand.
It was a small brand to which everyone paid little attention.
Everything must be used by the people should be completed on the highest level in conformity with their demands and interests no matter how small it may be.

Now that the whole country is brimming with love, respect and warm congratulations to the women who are building the bright future, ensuring the continuity of the bloodline of patriotism generation after generation, a grand performance was given at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on March 8, International Women's Day.
The venue for the performance was full of joy and excitement of the women commemorating March 8 as the happiest holiday in the presence of the tender-hearted father whom they longed to see even in their dreams.

KCNA:O Kyong Ryong - One of DPRK's Ten Best Sportspersons for 2025
O Kyong Ryong, wrestler of the Pyongyang Sports Club, was listed as the one of the ten best players for 2025 in the DPRK.
She won gold medals at the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championship and the 2025 World Wrestling Championship to become the Asian and world champion in the women's wrestling 55kg category.
Born in Jongju City, North Phyongan Province, she learned basic wrestling skills at the extracurricular sports school of the Pyongyang Sports Club from the age of 12.
She won a gold medal in the women's 49kg category of the 2015 Asian junior wrestling championship and made good results at international games with various techniques.
She is training hard with a resolve to live up to the expectation of the country and the people with excellent successes in the future games.
