A military parade took place with splendour at Kim Il Sung Square on the night of February 25 to commemorate the Ninth Congress of the WPK.

And airplanes made demonstration flights in the nocturnal sky of the capital city.
Airplanes depicting the Party emblem and the figure "9" symbolic of the Party Congress flew over the square, letting off spectacular fireworks, with the honor of glorifying the appearance of the Workers' Party of Korea in the colors of glory and inscribing legendary feats and heroic biography in the history of the Party.
And airplanes buzzed the square and showed stunts of sudden rise, letting off sparks.
The square of the military parade was turned into a sea of flowers presenting the greatest glory to the great WPK which placed the absolute dignity and immortal reputation of our state on the highest stage of the century.
A special performance was given in the square, raising the enthusiasm of the parade.
The performers sang high praises of the immortal feats of our Party which developed our most beautiful country in the world into a powerful and matchless country with the dignity (…)

KCNA:Amnokgang General Foodstuff Factory Establishes Beer Production Line
The Amnokgang General Foodstuff Factory in the DPRK established a new beer production line.
In order to produce high-quality beer made from raw materials available in the province, the employees of the factory built the production site in a hygienic and cultured way, complying with the requirements of the construction method and applying advanced working methods.
The factory conducted a trial operation and is making full preparations to put the beer production on a normal basis

Trade union officials from across the DPRK started a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.
They held a kick-off meeting of the study tour at the plaza before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in Hyesan City on February 24.
The participants laid a flower basket and bouquets before the statues of the great leaders and paid tribute to them.
At the meeting speakers called on the members of the study tour group to cherish the revolutionary will of the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class to go along the sacred road of the Juche revolution to the end, following the forerunners who provided the noble tradition of loyalty and unity in the pioneering period of the Korean revolution, during their study tour of the battle sites of Mt Paektu.
