The subjective and objective conditions and environment of the Korean revolution will not be smooth even in the period of implementing the new long-term plan but we should take the strategic initiative firmly and remain proactive in making redoubled efforts on full alert in order to bring about marked growth in the might of the Party and the state and provide the people with greater wellbeing, he stressed.

Voice of Korea:Reform of medical education system promoted
The public health sector is conducting the work to reform the medical education system.
Detailed measures are taken to combine the theory and practice in medical education and create an environment for the students to acquire wide-ranging and profound knowledge.
Preparations are made to newly establish masters' class and class for training doctors of specialized departments at universities and colleges of medical sciences, the Academy of Medical Science and the national-level hospitals including the Pyongyang General Hospital.
In-service doctor training units are pushing ahead with the work to improve practical ability and qualification of teachers and taking practical measures to raise the ability of in-service medical workers.

Since the adoption of a new policy for provincial development at the 10th session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK modern local industrial factories have spruced up in 40 cities and counties across the country in less than 2 years’ time, representing a remarkable transformation. Last year pilot projects for public health facilities and cultural service complexes were completed in several cities and counties.
Such entities of epoch-making significance can be termed a praiseworthy fruition of WPK’s politics meant for the improvement of people’s well-being, the politics peculiar to the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) that has recorded the history of dedication to people.
During the course of implementing the new policy, dramatic progress and changes were made in the laying of economic foundations, improvement of local industry’s competitiveness and people’s perception of provincial areas. All the above are indicative of the WPK’s noble view: we can see the bright prospect of our socialism and eternal prosperity of the country in the secure future of its provincial areas.
We held ground-breaking ceremonies one after another for the New Year’s construction projects under the “Regional Development 20x10 Policy” in 20 cities and counties, the first being in Unryul County. The ceremonies clearly demonstrated the enthusiasm of our people for the ever-expanding provincial development policy and also the potential of our State to back up its implementation as well as the great prospect of a new upswing to be envisioned at the 9 th Congress of the WPK.

Naenara : In our country, the IT industry selects the best programmers nationwide every year.
Among the top programmers selected for 2025 is Kim Won Guk, a fourth-year student in the Faculty of Automation at Kim Chaek Polytechnical University.
Won Guk participated in the programming competition at the National Computer Achievements Exhibition-2025 to showcase his performance.
This competition took place last October at the Palace of Science and Technology.
In the final round, which was an individual competition, the young student submitted satisfactory results on the given problems on time, thus receiving the highest score.

As a result, different branch farms, processing grounds and rearing blocks and distinctive modern houses were built in rows, adding to the sentiments peculiar to the countryside, alongside a kindergarten, school, hospital, pharmacy, shop, hall of culture and neighbourhood-serving facilities, with ground-covering plants and trees of good species planted everywhere in harmony.
The surrounding mountains were afforested, the shore of the reservoir and stream were turned into recreational spaces and parks, and power generating facilities using natural energy were built.
The picturesque farm village, animal sheds full of cows and goats of superior breeds, workers who raise each animal by operating the control system at the indoor sheds, automated milking and processing lines, and the intelligent integrated production system capable of real-time monitoring, analysing and controlling the production and management activities—all these provide a glimpse of the rosier future of the socialist countryside.
