Voice of Korea:New fireproof paint developed
Scientists and researchers of the May 28 Metallurgical Institute under the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry developed a new fireproof paint and established its production process in cooperation with technicians of Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex.
The researchers of the institute intensified their study to obtain substances that can be used as raw materials of the fireproof paint. In the course, they obtained a substance with refractoriness of over 1,000℃ which does not melt by molten iron and solved the problem of bonding agent and auxiliary additives according to the actual conditions.
The technicians of blast furnace workshop No. 1 of Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex proved through several rounds of test production that the newly-developed fireproof paint lengthens the life of refractory.
Another progress was made in the centrifugal casting process of the steel casting workshop to increase the production while saving electricity which was used a lot in the course of stripping.

The Ninth Congress of the WPK adopted with unanimous approval the decision on electing Kim Jong Un as general secretary of the WPK in reflection of the unanimous will and desire of all the delegates, Party members, people and service personnel of the People's Army.
The participants in the Congress extended the highest glory to the General Secretary, vowing to remain faithful to the his leadership of Kim Jong Un to the last for the eternal prosperity of the country.

As a result, a variety of new products have been developed, with insam and ginkgo nut indan and Baikal skullcap and dandelion dragee for hepatitis highly appreciated in the Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories’ products show in 2025.

KCNA:WPK Rules Revised at Ninth WPK Congress
A decision of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea "On the Revision of the Rules of the Workers' Party of Korea" was adopted on Feb. 22.
The decision is as follows:
The Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea deliberated the Rules of the WPK which were revised to reflect the practical issues arising in further improving the features and leadership ability peculiar to our Party and putting the Party work and activities on a more regular and standardized basis.
Stipulated in the Rules of the WPK are the contents that the political, organizational, ideological, discipline and work-style building is held fast to as the permanent Party-building line, reflecting the consistent stand and will of the WPK to usher in a golden age of strengthening the whole Party with the five-point Party-building line in the new era as its ideo-theoretical guidelines.
The revised rules also clearly define the authority and work system of the central leadership bodies of the Party on the principle of thoroughly establishing the monolithic leadership system of the Party Central Committee over the Party building and activities as a whole and strengthening the centralist discipline.
Some contents of chapters and provisions in the Rules were revised in the direction of consolidating the Party ranks in a qualitative way and innovatively improving the Party work, including the reinforcement of institutional mechanisms to maintain the scientific accuracy and impartiality in applying the Party discipline.
The current Congress decides to adopt the revised and supplemented Party rules as the Rules of the WPK, considering that they will play an important role in successfully fulfilling the fighting programme set forth at the Ninth Congress of the Party by further consolidating the organizational and ideological foundations of our Party and thoroughly ensuring its invincible leadership ability in a standardized way.
