Admin’s note: is DPRK a dynasty or not?

Most people use the argument that DPRK medias use the word "lineage of Paektu" to prove Kim family is dynasty (there is even a Wikipedia page that makes the equal sign between Kim family and lineage of Paektu). But in fact, lineage of Paektu means the revolutionary leaders and masses of the whole party and republic, not only Kim family. As Roh Kil Nam, intellectual in Jucheist idea, explains:

The main forces driving North Korean society can be broadly summarized into three groups. The core leadership of the forces that boldly fought against Japanese imperialism, understood as the lineage of Paektu, refers to the highest leadership of the anti-Japanese struggle centered around President Kim Il Sung. Additionally, it also refers to the family of President Kim Il Sung. Furthermore, the leaders of the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces and their descendants, who most faithfully served President Kim Il Sung, have occupied a significant portion of the leadership of northern society. This group includes the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces, but also the generation of guerrillas who actively participated in the anti-American struggle during the Korean War and their descendants, as well as the children of these patriots who lost their parents in the line of duty (such as students at the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School). These groups were cherished in the northern fatherland and promoted as leaders of the revolutionary era. Lastly, in the process of building Juche socialism, the leadership class of North Korean society has been mainly comprised of those who have dedicated themselves to politics, military, economy, society, culture, science, sports, education, diplomacy, media, health, etc. and have received the highest medals or Heroes of Labor awards, as well as their descendants.

Kim Jong Un was clear :

The children of a revolutionary do not grow up to be revolutionaries simply because they have inherited their parent’s lineage. As the great Generalissimos said, blood may be inherited, but not ideology.

KCNA:Regional-industry Factories Expand Variety of Products

Newly-built regional- industry factories are striving to produce more quality goods favoured by the people, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Thanks to the efforts of their officials and workers, the variety of products has been expanded nearly three times, as compared with the early days of operation.

The Songchon County Foodstuff Factory set a goal to produce special products symbolic of its region by using Songchon chestnuts as raw materials.

The Jangphung County Foodstuff Factory developed ginger fermentation vinegar, ginger sugar, Punji (toothache tree fruit) paste and pickled Punji by using the medicinal and health functions of ginger and Punji trees widely cultivated in the county.

Foodstuff factories in Kumya, Sukchon and Onchon counties and the Orang County Seafood Processing Factory are producing tasty processed seafood of dozens of kinds.

The foodstuff factories in Kim Hyong Jik County, Usi County and other mountainous counties are turning out various kinds of products with locally available raw materials.

The Hamju County Daily Necessities Factory produces household goods and ventilators, siphons and other building materials for rural housing construction.

Ichon and Jangphung county daily necessities factories developed functional laundry soap by using fruits of Junglans cordiformis and sweet flag growing in their regions.

Kusong City, Kumya County and Kim Hyong Jik County garment factories are striving to turn out new products.
