DPRK uses it to mean a change of life standards, education, healthcare, housing... What Albania and China called "Cultural Revolution", a country-wide class struggle against capitalist elements of the mentality and society, is named "Ideological Revolution" in DPRK.

Reminder that DPRK regards three revolutions, technical, ideological and cultural, as means to build socialism.

Soviet power means the dictatorship of prolerariat (which is the height of class struggle and repression of the enemies, combined with construction of socialism, to create a society without classes), electrification means the development of productive forces (to create a society of abundance without commodity production and money). Kim Il Sung declared that the important part of this quote is "Soviet Power" and so ideological/cultural revolution.

Japan's history is woven with crimes against the Korean people. It launched aggression on Korea hundreds of years ago.

After occupying Korea in a brigandish way, the Japanese imperialists inflicted untold pain and misfortune upon the Korean people, working hard to realize their aggressive daydream of the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

History discloses the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists, the sworn enemy of the Korean people. The unethical crimes are so hideous that they can never be pardoned.

 
Japs Commit Massacre and Plunder in Imjin War
 
Japan ignited a war of aggression on Korea with more than 200 000 troops in 1592 (Imjin Year).

This was the first state-sponsored criminal act committed by Japan against Korea.

In this war, called the Imjin Patriotic War on the part of the Korean people, the Japanese murderers saliently revealed their brutality.

Spearheaded by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who took power by force of arms, the Japanese murderers brutally killed the Korean people everywhere, gouging their eyes out and chopping their heads to be hung before their military encampments.

According to data available, the Japanese aggressors killed more than 113 300 Koreans during the second invasion. If the number of Koreans massacred in various regions during the first invasion is added, the number amounts to hundreds of thousands.

During the war, the Japanese aggressors cut off many Koreans' limbs, buried them alive and burned them to death, while getting hell-bent on plunder and destruction.

They indiscriminately plundered and destroyed famous pottery and other cultural assets of Korea and forcibly took potters to Japan. They kidnapped not only talented persons in various fields such as Confucian scholar, doctor, architect, painter and printer but also ordinary people.

The Imjin Patriotic War ended in a crushing defeat of Japan in 1598 for the death-defying resistance of the Koreans, but the Korean people sustained great suffering for a long time because of the ensuing shortage of talents and the lack of labour force.

The atrocities committed by the Japanese aggressors during the Imjin Patriotic War are a hideous state-sponsored crime that can never go with impunity.

Rodong Sinmun:National Photo Exhibition Opens in DPRK



A national photo exhibition, "Under the uplifted banner of self-reliance", was opened to celebrate the ８４th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

On display there are photos dealing with the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Iland the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The photos help the visitors recollect the history of the revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il who kindled the torch of the revolutionary advance and the flames of a new upsurge in the new century throughout the country.

Among the photos are those showing the devoted efforts of Kim Jong Il who made a ceaseless high-intensity forced march for field guidance with his faith and will to make the country prosperous and make the people well-off.

KCNA:Repair and Maintenance of Farm Machines Promoted in N. Hwanghae Province of DPRK

North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK learned about the operation and technical state of all the farm machines and is pushing ahead with the organizational and political work to repair and maintain them.

Officials of agricultural guidance organs in the province, cities and counties are intensifying technical guidance to solve problems at the units in their charge.

Rinsan County is manufacturing wheat and barley threshers while remodeling combine harvesters to suit the specific conditions.

Sariwon City is pushing ahead with the work of making efficient nutritive rice-transplanting machines at low production costs, and with the maintenance of various kinds of farm machines at the same time.

Working people in Hwangju and Yonthan counties are carrying out their plans for overhauling tractors by pooling their efforts and wisdom.

Suan and Singye counties built new parking garages for farm machines and have directed efforts to consolidating the material and technical foundations of repair bases and raising the level of skilled workers.

Unpha and Sohung counties have striven to improve the performance of tractors, rice-transplanting machines and other farm machines

Admin’s note: is DPRK a dynasty or not?

Most people use the argument that DPRK medias use the word "lineage of Paektu" to prove Kim family is dynasty (there is even a Wikipedia page that makes the equal sign between Kim family and lineage of Paektu). But in fact, lineage of Paektu means the revolutionary leaders and masses of the whole party and republic, not only Kim family. As Roh Kil Nam, intellectual in Jucheist idea, explains:

The main forces driving North Korean society can be broadly summarized into three groups. The core leadership of the forces that boldly fought against Japanese imperialism, understood as the lineage of Paektu, refers to the highest leadership of the anti-Japanese struggle centered around President Kim Il Sung. Additionally, it also refers to the family of President Kim Il Sung. Furthermore, the leaders of the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces and their descendants, who most faithfully served President Kim Il Sung, have occupied a significant portion of the leadership of northern society. This group includes the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces, but also the generation of guerrillas who actively participated in the anti-American struggle during the Korean War and their descendants, as well as the children of these patriots who lost their parents in the line of duty (such as students at the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School). These groups were cherished in the northern fatherland and promoted as leaders of the revolutionary era. Lastly, in the process of building Juche socialism, the leadership class of North Korean society has been mainly comprised of those who have dedicated themselves to politics, military, economy, society, culture, science, sports, education, diplomacy, media, health, etc. and have received the highest medals or Heroes of Labor awards, as well as their descendants.

Kim Jong Un was clear :

The children of a revolutionary do not grow up to be revolutionaries simply because they have inherited their parent’s lineage. As the great Generalissimos said, blood may be inherited, but not ideology.
