The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a flower basket and a congratulatory letter from the military attaches corps here on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army.
The flower basket and the congratulatory letter were handed over to an official concerned by the military attaché of the Cuban embassy who is doyen of the corps on Feb. 2.
Conveyed on the same day were congratulatory letters to Kim Jong Un from military attaché offices at the Cuban, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese and Iranian embassies

Rodong Sinmun:Ryonggang County Hospital Opens
The Ryonggang County Hospital opened on Feb. １.
On hearing the news of the opening of the hospital, many residents in the county visited the hospital.
Guided by doctors and nurses, they went round the hospital equipped with all conditions for medical service in happiness.
Enjoying advanced medical service, they felt once again the ardent love and affection of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who saw to it that a modern hospital has been built and wished them a happy life in a good place.

The Sohungho Children’s Camp has been remodeled in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.
The camp with a mosaic mural depicting the benevolent image of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un has all conditions for campers to live without any inconvenience.
Its inauguration ceremony was held on Feb. １.
Present there were officials concerned, working people and schoolchildren in Pongsan County and teaching staff of the camp.
A speaker at the ceremony stressed the need for the teaching staff of the camp to take good care of buildings, equipment and fixtures and organize and guide the campers’ extracurricular life in various ways so as to prepare the schoolchildren to be masters of the future who will shoulder socialist Korea.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the camp.

The Hwangchoryong Spring Water Factory has been built in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.
The factory with automated and streamlined production lines and an integrated production system makes it possible to supply healthful spring water and various kinds of drinks to the people in the province.
Present at its inauguration ceremony held on Sunday were officials concerned, builders, working people in Hamhung City and employees of the factory.
Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, addressed the ceremony.
After the ceremony the participants looked round various parts of the modernly-equipped factory.

In the 1990s when socialism collapsed in eastern Europe, Chairman Kim Jong Il made public in succession immortal classic works that indicated outstanding ideas and theories for the victorious advance of the socialist cause in order to make all the people realize the root cause of collapse of socialism and encourage the struggle of the world progressive parties.
Kim Jong Il clearly expounded that the party leadership is vital to the socialist cause in his classic work The Workers’ Party of Korea Organizes and Guides All the Victory of Our People published on October 3, 1990.
Kim Jong Il explained in his work that party leadership is vital to the socialist cause, the decisive guarantee of the strengthening the driving force of the socialist cause and increasing its role, the fundamental condition for developing the socialist cause in accordance with a correct struggle strategy and proper tactics, and is indispensable if revolutionary principles are to be adhered to consistently and implemented thoroughly in the whole course of developing the socialist cause.
Kim Jong Il made public the classic work On the Fundamentals of Revolutionary Party Building on October 10, 1992. In the work, he clarified the programmatic guiding principles that purity of the socialist idea must be defended firmly and continuity of leadership must be ensured if the cause of socialism is to be completed and, to do so, the party must be cemented.
