Rodong Sinmun:Cement and Corrugated Paper Factories Inaugurated in Unpha of DPRK
North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK have remodeled the Unpha Cement Factory and the Unpha Corrugated Paper Factory.
Their successful renovation provides a material and technical foundation for activating the cement production and turning out various sizes of cartons with locally available raw materials.
Present at the inauguration ceremonies were officials in North Hwanghae Province, working people in Sariwon City and Unpha County and employees of relevant units.
At the ceremonies, speakers called upon all the employees to hold fast to science and technology as the lifeline of development of their units and direct efforts to raising the level of technical knowledge and skills and managing equipment so as to put production on a normal basis and take the lead in establishing a cultured practice in production and life.

They are different in job, position and career, but they have one thing in common―the ennobling outlook on life which reflects their determination to make a contribution to society and the collective with ardent patriotism and infinite devotion.
Choe Yong Son is a worker at the Koksan County road facility management station in North Hwanghae Province. More than two decades ago she moved to the county with her husband, a discharged army officer. Since then she has put her heart and soul into the road repair and maintenance.
Many other people have been throwing themselves into the road to the country’s prosperity. Kim Su Gwan, a researcher in his sixties at Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, developed a new technical approach and Paek Un Song, a staff at the North Hwanghae provincial intelligent products manufactory, invented and introduced an active electric boiler.
Pak Myong Ae has been working as a keeper of the wild beast cage at the Central Zoo, a job others are reluctant to take up, for scores of years since her girlhood. She has so far contributed to breeding more than 180 animals of four species including tiger and lion. She finds great pride in seeing visitors pleased to see the Korean tigers raised by her.
Ju Chang Rim, a tunnelling worker at the Youth Mining District of the Unnyul Mine, has been working devotedly for decades, following in the footsteps of his parents.
Thanks to such patriotic workers supporting the country with their tireless and sincere efforts, the comprehensive development of socialism can advance.

He looked round the zipper, melamine resin goods and souvenir production processes and the sample room to acquaint himself with the annual output of zippers made with domestic raw and other materials. And he said with satisfaction that he was really pleased to have done what he had wanted to do for the people.
In the sample room he opened the zipper of a bag on display and said the types of zippers should be different and their colours and styles be diverse according to bag designs because the people want the bags with different colours and styles according to their tastes, likings and characteristics.
He said the colours of zipper grips should match with those of the shoes, putting stress on the quality of products.
