In December, 2025, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the regional-industry factories in Sinyang County which were near completion.
Going the rounds of the factories, the respected General Secretary pointed out that the foodstuff factory there were producing wheat soy and paste and confectionery as the fixed indices like its counterparts in other cities and counties.
Then he taught that the production indices had to be varied according to the regional characteristics and economic potentials.
Various processed wheat products could be made and seaside cities and counties could produce finished marine products like processed kelp, he continued.
He took for instance the Jangyon County Foodstuff Factory which was producing beer with the barley cultivated in the county and emphasized that the regional-industry factories should increase the varieties of products in such a way.
The officials of the county who were accompanying him as well as the masters of the factory fell deep in thought.
They reproached themselves for failing to endeavour to increase the kinds of special products figurative of their own region, thinking that they could readily satisfy the residents’ demands only by sufficiently fulfilling the plans for the already-fixed production indices.

That day, after estimating the fragrance of soap of different colours, the respected General Secretary praised that the mint-scented soap smelled nice and they perfumed the soap appropriately.
Then he referred to producing soap with nice fragrance in a larger amount.
The officials were wrapped in excitement.
Whenever he visited the newly-built regional-industry factories, he personally tried every condiment and appreciated the colours and scents of the products.
He always taught that everything to be used by the people must be the highest in quality.
Tiny as the amount of perfume added to a bar of soap was, it was associated with the great fatherly care of the respected General Secretary who pays deep attention to even a single piece of consumer goods to be supplied to the local residents.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials made up their minds to try their best to turn out high-quality daily necessities, thereby ensuring everyone enjoys benefits from the new life provided by the benevolence of the Party.

The workers of the Kyongsong Electric Appliances Factory and the Ranam Coal Mining Machine Factory have increased productivity by operating equipment and machines according to standard methods and technical regulations.
The employees of the Ponghak Foodstuff Factory and the Phyongsong Bag Factory are stepping up the technical upgrading of equipment with the viewpoint that the technical performance of machinery and equipment guarantees the quality of products.

Some of its medicine production lines had already been awarded GMP authentication and recently its clysis production line has been put on a GMP basis.
The factory has such high-tech equipment as vacuum concentrator, rotary high-speed tablet machine, automatic capsule filling machine and high-speed mixer. It also put such production lines as automated packing lines with tablet counting and liquid medicine-measuring processes and their surroundings on a high level.
Various kinds of medicines are being produced at the sites where the production lines have been put on a germ-free and dust-free basis. The factory is supplying its products to many hospitals and pharmacies, contributing to the promotion of the people's health
