There's a common saying which says choose your friends wisely, for they help you to make your choices.
And experience has shown us that the worst and most dangerous kind of "friend", is the enemy who's disguised as your friend.
Finally, history has clearly shown us that the "friends" and allies of the United States of America have one day or the other end up incurring a great loss.
The shameful humiliation of regional puppet-leaders such as Saddam Hussein, Reza Shah Pahlavi, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Muammar Gaddafi, Hosni Mubarak, Ali Abdullah Saleh, Abdullah II bin al-Hussein, Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, and most recently Muhammad Bin Salman, at the hands of their so-called American friends is just too embarrassing to watch.
These West Asian puppet-leaders had at one point or the other been the friends and allies of the American government.
Yet, in the end, it was at the hands of the their own friend and ally - the US of A - that they incurred the greatest of losses and most shameful of humiliations.
And so, "With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies".
