There's been a lot of talk about the JCPOA and who needs to return to it first.
It is strange that the American government wants the Islamic Republic to comply with the JCPOA while it was the American government who arrogantly left the JCPOA calling it a bad deal.
Furthermore, the other so-called partners in the JCPOA have never bothered to abide by their commitments delineated in the JCPOA which they all signed.
Along the way, the American government has increased the scope and severity of sanctions on the Islamic Republic.
If the American government wants to return to the JCPOA, it's going to have to be on the Islamic Republic's terms. Because it was the Islamic Republic whom abided by all their commitments in the JCPOA, despite the treachery of the other JCPOA signatories.
